Worst customer service of any bank i ever delt with. 3 days later they will return a call and can't speak to anyone in person

Haha what kind of a bank is open from 10am - 4pm. 6 hours? That's like saying you don't want people business. Especially on a weekday, when people work and are most likely not able to get there at those stupid times.

I love this bank, the ppl there are always happy and friendly, not fake friendly, actual friendly. I was in a bind while out of town and couldn't get to my branch, spoke with Jordan over the and without hesitation he helped me cover my mortgage for a couple days, straight up trust. They are not all about " helping the rich" and are all about HELPING EVERYONE.

I had ordered foreign exchange money to be delivered to another branch. I was told it would be there on Friday or Monday at the latest. When it did not arrive as scheduled I asked Lacombe Branch to check into it. When I arrived at home, I phoned Fort Saskatchewan and left a message. Their answering machine says that they will contact you at the end of the business day. They did not. I have left 5 messages over a couple of days and they have not returned one message. I must admit I am thinking about not renewing any further dealings with BMO.

I honestly wish that there was a rating lower than 1. I went into the branch after booking an appointment and arrive to find out that there is actually no appointment. Jordan took me in anyway and processed my loan and put in the application. I was told that i would find out the answer the next Monday. I didn't get a phone call that day and when i phoned the next day he was busy and i left a message. I phoned the third day and he was in a meeting and would get back to me. I honestly think that banks should not accept applications through their associates if they do not have the ability to give you time they promise. Or they shouldn't promise you a time that they will call and just say it will take a couple days. If you are thinking of going to this bank i wouldn't recommend it unless you have time to chase them for the things you need

I am not from town and went in sounding a bit clueless the first time, as I live in multiple countries and sometimes forget certain details of transactions. Kari Dinter, the branch manager was above and beyond helpful in multiple transactions, very personable and professional. Making suggestions I would not have thought of for security and ease of transactions. Thanks to all the staff, and way to go:) Vanessa plimley

If I could give this Bank zero stars I would. I get so very frustrated when I have to go to this bank. I do not have an account there, however my mother did. We have been trying to close my momβ€˜s estate now for about a month she passed away five weeks ago. Every time I have to go to this bank to get something done with the estate. I have to wait a minimum 20 minutes to get help. The longest I’ve had to wait is 47 minutes. One time I had to wait in the entrance in freezing cold weather. (As they now lock the inside door) I stood out there for 18 minutes before an employee came in from a break. I don’t know if it was the bank manager or what but, he came in and saw me standing out there shivering. He asked how long I had been waiting and I looked at my wrist watch and at that moment it had been 18 minutes. He asked me to please wait a few more minutes and he did actually let me into the bank. This is the only time that has happened. The other day I had to wait 37 minutes just to ask a question. The woman behind the counter had no idea how to help me and so she had to go get help to help me. This is always my experience when I go to this bank. One day I tried to get into my momβ€˜s safety deposit box which also has my name on it. The employee insisted I had the wrong key because it would not work. I did not have the wrong key it’s the same key that I’ve been using for years. It took her no word of a lie A good 10 minutes to get into the safe. She used every single key that she had and then went to another set of keys and used them. Then again started with the first set. She kept insisting I had the wrong key when it finally worked. Today I went to the bank again because of my mother is a state. When I got there there’s only one teller open as usual in my experience. Three people waiting inside myself and three other people in the entrance because they have the doors locked and won’t let us in. I knocked and asked how many tellers were working and she said only one so that was another at least 30 minutes and that’s counting five minutes per person that was ahead of me so of course I left. In the new year because now I don’t get any more days off until the new year I will be going in hopefully closing down everything. I will be taking my loan and paying that off. I will never, ever step foot in this establishment again it’s the worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with.
