I spent more than an hour to wire money from one account to another. The lady Anita was not just incompetent, but also rude and inpatient. We have never had any problem with the BMO in Richmond but having such a tough time in this Burnaby branch. Never coming back here again and should really work on the hiring. But outside of her, all the staffs were friendly and nice also knowledgeable. Would have spoke to a manager but just doesn’t have another hour for this matter.

People please avoid this location. Now I've always had a bad experience with BMO but this one is a whole different level of ridiculousness. I visited this location to ask why my app wasn't logging me in and after waiting for literally over 45 minutes at their door (not even offered a seat) and the rep had to ask a "manager" I was given a very misleading info that bcuz I don't have a chequing account and just a MasterCard I no longer can access the account to see my balance. Which turned out to be completely false as I was able to access it after talking to over-the-phone customer service. But it was too late as I missed one payment (small amount) and it completely messed up my Credit report. The other rep I spoke with over the phone assured me that because this had happened by mistake on BMO's end, they'll take that missed payment off my records and asked me to wait up to 90 days for that to happen but (of course) it didn't happen and still is showing a missed payment on my report. Neither the rep nor the manager or the rep over the phone were held accountable despite misleading a customer and displaying a very poor customer service. Please people do yourselves a favor and don't listen or trust anyone at this location or over the phone. Even better yet if you just take your business to another bank that values customers.

Easy to find location, the lady works there fully understood our needs and filled with smile, definitely a great place to go when doing your daily banking needs!

The worst bank ever. The service attitude is worst among all banks. The people there don’t know what they are doing, are not professional at all! Went there 4 times. The issue is still not fixed. I end up close my account. Good bye BMO! I strongly recommend everyone AVOID BMO, especially at this branch. WROST BANK!!!

Funny experience, the PB he was unwilling to do whatever he was asked in the first place, did not greeting at all when I was directed to him, which was fine. My thing wouldn’t take long. 1st: I told him I need to get online-opened account activated and get a bank card. He was told by his colleague too. After a few questions,he asked me for bank card, I had to pull out my other bank card, and he said that’s not bmo’s card. Of course it was not that’s why I came in, funny. 2nd: Email said β€œBring one piece of accepted ID with you so we can verify it. It won't take long.” He demands to know why l didn’t carry all IDs.Lmao.I understood typically 2 pieces of IDs, but I was told by email one piece of ID, wasn’t my fault for bringing one. And his passive aggressive attitude since the beginning irritated me so much. What a wonderful experience.

A bank with this much profit generation cannot justify 1 hour wait times when a client is trying to contact a loan department. Ive spent 3 hours on hold while being disconnected 2 times. Every time I call back I get the same run around. The operators simply cannot help make contact with the loan department. This is completely unacceptable.
