good friendly staff, but i was driving through town early one morning so i lined up early to be the first in line with the tellers and when the door was opened I was surprised to discover there was another door and it was opened before my door was. I unfortunatly had to then wait another what seems like 10-15 minutes.

They discriminate and judge u on your appearance and not off your credit or banking standereds

Not happy with my experience at all at the Station Street branch in Duncan B.C. Went into the bank to deposit a check was told by the manager/assistant manager that there would be a hold on my check until it cleared in 7 business days it would be available on Friday the 10th. I even asked the teller who was working with me as well, if I needed to make arrangements in advance for the cash I needed and she told me that because it was a Friday that they would have the amount I needed on hand. I go into the branch on the morning of Friday the 10th to make a withdrawal to pay some overdue bills and was told the money would now not be available until the 14th, when I ask what the problem is, the same manager/assistant manager instead of admitting he made a mistake on the day of availability, tries to tell me to my face that he never told me that it would be ready on Friday the 10th and tried to say he said something totally different, in my opinion calling me a liar. Then while leaving upset already, to add insult to injury, that same manager/assistant manager tells me to "enjoy the rest of my day" When I check with online banking it says my funds will be available on the 11th at approximately 6:00am. Being absolutely upset about my whole experience already, I decide to call the main branch of BMO and talk to someone about my treatment. Then after calling the Main branch of BMO and speaking with someone who then told me their supervisor would be given the information and would call me back, waited around all day, No call back. A mistake made by the manager/assistant manager is now going to cost me financial and personal grief. Needless to say, I will be taking my banking business elsewhere.

consistently Long lineups. tellers work slowly. Also it's an awkward vibe as if the staff either dislike each other or their job itself. Not an inviting space to be in. Too bad it takes so long to get in and out.

Terrible phone service. I phoned my local branch (in BC) got redirected to 6-7 different automated voice messages; finally reached a person -assuming at my branch? - who directed my call to the department requested: Next thing I hear is a voice saying that, following EST - not PST - the branch is now closed!!!

Haven't had the best encounters with the staff at this BMO location, but there have for sure been some shining stars. I always have my questions answered and requests helped, so each time I go I leave the building having accomplished what I came for. The branch is clean and well-organized, and the line-ups are generally not extremely long. Good place to bank in Duncan.

This branch has been extremely helpful over the past year. It is Garry Anderson that has been exceptionally helpful with my concerns regarding finances. The tellers and management have been wonderful too. I have been in there dealing with death certificates and such and they are nothing but kind, considerate and great at their jobs. I highly recommend this branch for any and all your financial needs.

So, I hate to be that guy. But I boated a week, and drove an hour and a half to pickup our new credit cards (mailing wasn't an option to the boat) last night their hours showed 9am, and this morning it shows 10. Sign on the door clearly indicates 10am from January 17th. So it's not totally out of reason, but u would have loved to know this yesterday
