We stayed at Chalet Dalal #54 for 4 nights from Aug 3-7 with two families. Check-in was fairly seamless though we had to call Georges to receive the instructions the night before since we were not provided anything in advance with our itinerary. On arrival the place looked tidy, but a bit run down (ie stains in carpet). Our biggest issue was that the floors on both floors were sticky - they had not been cleaned and our kids feet were black. When we ran into Georges at reception he said there was a blackout and was nice enough to sender cleaners the next day to clean them - unfortunately they wore their dirty shoes while cleaning and left after only doing one floor. After this, we noticed other issues with the unit - dishwasher wasn't working properly, chair was broken, deck railing needed repair, dirty jacuzzi, nails sticking out at the playground. We sent a note to Georges and never heard back from him. Unfortunately my nephew did hurt his foot in the playground. Despite this, the kids enjoyed the pool and overall we made the most out of our stay, the views are gorgeous. We were disappointed given the pictures look way better than it actually is. It's not great value at all for the high price you're paying. If they put a bit more TLC to repair and upgrade the chalet, it would go a long way!

Chalet Zurri was really nice! I would have given this place 5 stars but the shared β€œresort” tennis court is dangerous with nails all over the place. The volleyball court also had rocks in it. It’s fine to neglect the aforementioned but please charge less or at the very least, don’t promote these amenities. We bought new rackets for the tennis court and it should be closed until repaired. It’s a lawsuit in the works - it’s a spike strip. Also, I’ll swim in nearly every body of water but this lake (5 minute walk from the Chalet) was more of a pond and it was filled with aquatic weeds and I didn’t want to go in. A public dock to jump off to get deeper and past the weeds would be a great addition to the area.

We had a great stay at the resort. The view from the chalet was stunning and Georges and his dad were helpful whenever we needed. The group enjoyed the resort facilities especially the tennis court.

We had a great time at Wapasha cabin in Blueberry lake. The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful whenever we had questions. A special thanks to Joseph (Georges Dad) as he always went above and beyond to help us. We had an issue with our van and he even allowed us to borrow some of his tools to fix it. Thank you

I was hoping to book this resort for my wedding this summer. The owner nearly impossible to get ahold of to schedule a day to come out and see the place. He did not respond to emails from me or my partner. After finding his phone number and texting him, he told me to call to schedule. When I called, he told me to text. It took 5 days for him to reply back before I was finally able to go. I won't lie, the space is very lovely. However my experience upon meeting Joseph, George's father, quickly changed. He was very friendly and agreeable until I told him that my fiance is Indian. When I told him this, his face soured and in broken English he repeatedly said "too much Indians". This is when I started to rethink our choice of venue. During the visit, I spoke to George on the phone and he told me to send him a text message with my email address so he could send me an information package. I did this right away. It has since been a week, and I texted him two more times afterwards. He never responded. I am convinced the reason we never heard back is due to my fiance's ethnicity. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our interactions until this fact was revealed, and afterwards we were completely ignored. In the end it's their loss. We would have happily paid the $10,000 rental fee for the clubhouse and a cabin. But thankfully racists are also stunningly low in inteligence and clearly don't want money. Don't waste your time and money here. Management is unprofessional and of weak character. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT: To anyone reading these reviews, let me take a moment to point out an extremely problematic behaviour I have noticed from the owner. Look at each response he gives to negative reviews. Do you notice how they refute the negative experiences from each customer, placing the blame for their bad experience on them, or in the case of the countless reviews about the pest problems, state that the customer is outright lying? Georges, I know what I heard. "too much Indians" does not mean "we host lots of Indians". The sour face I saw did not indicate a happy response. But of course, this is my fault, right? My misunderstanding? This is textbook gaslighting. Take some responsibility for your trashy management and manipulative behavior, and realize that the s*** is under your own shoe. With the other reviewers citing the surprise fees you spring on them, I doubt any future business we might have had would have been honest anyway. Again, I urge any prospective clients of this business to look elsewhere for a resort more professionally managed. There is nothing here you can't find somewhere else.

Our family has stayed at this resort in the past but this is the first time since the new owner took over. I can see now that many people have complained about bed bugs. The cottage we stayed in was definitely infested. We took pictures and videos of the bed bugs and the bites. We even caught a few for the owner and left them in a container in the cottage. Despite this, the owner insisted on having his "specialist" take a look at the cottage before offering any compensation. He then offered roughly 25% reimbursement and asked for a doctor's note to prove they were bed bug bites, because he apparently shared the pics with a dermatologist who said it was a skin condition! We literally caught one of them as it was biting us. Based on previous reviews and our own experience, I don't believe they will take care of the issue. We won't be staying there again.

t's my 3rd time at Blueberry Lake and the experience was just wow! Everything was well organized, wood was delivered to us before we arrived and the people went out of their way to make sure we were well served. We forgot to buy coffee and after coming over to bring more wood in the morning we asked what was possible and he said he would try to find a solution. In the middle of a snowstorm he came back and gave us some coffee. This is a nice example of someone who cares for his guests. Thanks and I've already booked another weekend and looking forward to spending some good time there again :)

Very nice and clean chalet. Georges was great. He was very responsive. I also forgot my phone and actually helped me to get it back. Usually people don’t care if you leave something behind. Fully equipped home, everything was supplied. Already looking forward to book a summer chalet. Will reach out to Georges again.
