★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a notary in my area and this firm popped up in the Google search. I called to ask some general questions about if they had someone available and who should bring document in, at which point the woman who answered cut me off and told me she doesn’t ‘give legal advice for $20 bucks an hour.’ I was taken aback by how aggressive and presumptuous she was being - before I had even finished my question. She clearly assumed I was looking for some sort of legal wisdom when I was just trying to articulate myself. I tried to explain and she would not hear it, continuing to cut me off while saying I was asking legal questions. What should have been a quick notarized copy situation for a government program turned into a horrible customer service experience. I’m normally not one to speak up or confront rudeness with strangers but this was beyond. I told her we would find somewhere else to which she sounded delighted. Perhaps this is not the place for a notary unless you are also pay them additional fees. Anything less is apparently not worth their time. 0 stars
Update: walk-in notary in Mississauga did it with no hassle and I was out of their office in 15 minutes 10/10
