The worst experience I ever had with a contractor. I have never met or interact with anyone in the company that actually did not make me feel bad. If only I can go back in time. This company will hold you hostage as soon as they receive your initial payment.

Curtis was a true pro when we needed some reno work done for 2 of our bathrooms. We look forward to working with Curtis and his team on our next home reno project. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment I called Blue Ladder Projects, they showed that they cared. Without spending a dollar they had a structural engineer, plumber, and electrician come give professional advice. The entire process of my reno from start to finish was well communicated and executed. 11/10

We converted our carport into a garage and it's amazing!! Spars was a wonderful, family run, friendly, reliable, and skilled company. The project went off without a glitch and the tradesmen were on time and on budget!! Doesn't get much better then that! Thank you! We love our garage, all the usable systems, the flooring and it has been a game changer for our outdoor gear too!

Curtis at Spar Reno's was able to tackle my small reno's right away, which was a real hassle for me as most companies only accept the bigger jobs. I gave him a budget, a task list and was able to see progress each day he worked. He respected my house and I almost came back to a cleaner house then when I left, true fact. I would recommend Curtis as he was very accommodable to my budget and small projects.

Curtis was very friendly, genuine, professional, and did excellent work on our custom garage Reno. We have more than 5 months waiting for them to pay a service. Blue ladder Kristie Payne, Byron Glassco said they have no money and won’t pay. No answering emails and calls seems regular way to do business for them. Be aware.

We had our master bathroom remodeled by Blue Ladder Project. We picked that company in February 2021 for the project management side that we thought would save us time compared to managing the project ourselves. The interior designer was fine and helpful. The project was coordinated fine at the beginning. We started doubting their competence after a few weeks when they started taking days to reply to our emails for follow-ups. They also didn’t say anything about the damaged and molded insulation in the wall once they removed the tiles and the drywall. We noticed and had to request them to change the insulation. They missed adding insulation on part of the exterior wall. We noticed on time before they put up the bathtub in. That error would have caused the bathroom to feel cold in winter. Next, they hired an incompetent trade for the painting job: they never showed up on the day scheduled, only the following week. That delayed the job of two other trades who were scheduled the following days. The superintendent didn’t seem to know what to do or didn’t care much, he was working on another project, had his hand full elsewhere. The base board for the shower step was delayed, which caused a delay for the shower glass door trade who needed the board to be placed in order to take measurements. Eventually, we’ve been told that the faucets and other accessories would be delayed. Instead of offering us another option that could be delivered on time, they simply put the project on hold until the arrival of these accessories, which came only in July. This project was finally completed on August 7 months later, after numerous unanswered emails and calls to the project manager who had to leave town. Even today, we have issues with the jet tub not working as expected; I’m still trying to reach out to someone to send the electrician back for an inspection, their website is not even working. Avoid this company, the stress they generate is not worth the extra cost they charge for “project management services.”
