I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this clinic! All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My dog is always excited to go to the vet and visit! The vet is gentle and compassionate, and is very thorough with his examinations. He also takes the time to provide owners with very thorough explanations. Thank you!

Always an exceptional experience. So safe and great precautions taken during Covid to ensure our safety and the dogs. Great staff and they take the best care of our fur babies. Would highly recommend.

We have been regular customers for 16 yrs. We have never felt a need to question the intentions, methods, or motivations of Dr. Choong and his terrific staff (shout out to Michelle). We will remain loyal customers of this efficient and capable animal hospital, as we cannot imagine a better alternative for our cat or ourselves.

I changed my review because dr. Chong resigned and he was the best. It is still BlueCross but he is not there. They got bought by Neighborhood pet Clinic or whatever it's called. And I find them pricier.

First time taking my rescue kitty Cleo to a vet . So glad I went here. They made a stressed kitty mum feel better. And helped my stressed Cleo ?

Yes, Dr. Derek CHOONG at Blue Cross was the best Vet in town. Everyone I knew, claimed this, about this wonderful vet & so I as well, took my dog to him. However, since 2022, Blue Cross is now, under new management. In my view, it is just AWFUL, in every aspect. The new management of veterinarians complain & tell you that you are taking away from their busy schedule, with your phone calls. Dr. Julie LANGMAN & Dr. Alec MARTIN should have done more follow-up, since my dog was not cured. After my senior dog was given antibiotics, I felt she may have had some side-effects from the antibiotics, so Dr. Martin called me back, at home..then started his complaining. And, Dr. LANGMAN after giving tests & exams to the dog, never even called back to see if she was progressing & whether any of her rather severe symptoms, had abated. Her symptoms were still prevalent, at that point. I also, got some pretty murky details on why the necessity for the usual tests- blood, urine & ultra-sound. I didn't care so much about cost, because I know my dog deserves every penny I spend on her, but I didn't ever once feel completely assured, as to the results of those tests, nor exactly how & why they were being given. Also, one other facet of a senior dog is that we generally would expect them to have a predisposition for geriatric ailments. Neither of these Veterinarians seemed to care for a thorough discussion of her previous charts/nutritional needs or arthritic condition or her previous medication history. In general, it didn't seem to have much relevance for either Veterinarian. On the other hand, Dr. CHOONG at Blue Cross wanted to know everything - present & past & kept himself updated - even on what morsels, she ate for breakfast that morning, almost. Dr. CHOONG always had straight answers - reasons, & results of tests & he left no stone unturned, when it came to her health & needs. Lastly, the dog really liked him! She has changed, now! In fact,. when Dr. MARTIN in particular, comes in the room; she immediately hides - behind my legs at each & every visit.. Further, no attempts at coaxing, pleading, or soliciting of biscuits, changes her mood. All was not well! In the end, Brent Barr, one of the Owners & Mgr.instructed me to look for another Vet. For Help! Imagine, doing that to someone, with a sick pet in dire straits of urgent medical assistance? In my perspective, a lot of money, and a lot of time with both Dr.MARTIN & Dr. LANGMAN left me feeling completely drained! This is not something a pet owner needs, on top of coping with an ill & dearly beloved, elderly pet. Personally, I regret my decision to go to these Vets because of the inception of Blue Cross' - new management. I had no choice, in the matter though, at the time because Dr. CHOONG was leaving Blue Cross & I was sent a letter by mail, that Dr. LANGMAN & Dr. MARTIN were the only Vets working at the Clinic. I feel like the dog was deserted, yet I feel happy & greatly relieved that neither the dog nor I, will have to go back to Blue Cross, EVER AGAIN!

This place is connected with neighbourhood pet clinic. They’ve handled the pandemic horribly they’ve been quite rude and have had poor service throughout the whole thing. Before the pandemic I was getting my food at neighbourhood pet clinic (which was a rip off and probably a blessing that their service was so horrible.) But I couldn’t even get through on the phones and then they had lock doors when you were coming to pick up the food they would make you wait a long time . If you want to be treated like you have Covid go here. The lady says to me all I can feel your breath on my hand I’m gonna give you a mask well get your hand out of my face. I was going to bring my cat in for for a neuter the bill was over $400. veterinarians are a dime a dozen! I think there is between and five and 10 veterinarians just on that little strip of Warren Cliff alone. I will take my business somewhere else. I was able to find somewhere that will do it for under $300. It’s disappointing veterinary and say they care about animals but really they just care about their own pockets.
