C	Chris Dias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My initial thought when noticing the vestment-inspired uniforms the wine hosts were wearing was, are any of them atheists? My girlfriend and I were on vacation through Okanagan wine country. Over six days, we visited sixty wineries. You can follow our various locations with this disclaimer. That’s sixty wineries, not an exaggeration. We ended the trip with 120 bottles acquired. Two of these were from Blasted Church, a wine brand I adore. The Cabernet Sauvignon is a personal favorite, but outside of specific varietals, I must also praise the bottle designs themselves, a clever illustration wrap that help tells the tale of the church that inspired the name and how it came to be blasted. So that should be reason enough to visit the winery. Thankfully, the winery is also worth of visit. If traveling up the east side of Skaha, it’s your first visit to a family of wineries all justifying praise. On its own, it’s not a breathtaking winery like Painted Rock, but it’s also not as hard to reach. The tasting room is cozy to be sure, but in the end, the experience is worth it. And they got a pool. And the wine names are funny. Okay, I admit, the winery is not a work of art—you won’t see it on any list extolling the engineering prowess of its architect; ultimately a winery rises or falls on its wine, and Blasted Church made me a convert long ago.

Each label is a world of art combined with mildly twisted hunour. Both the reds and whites are good but none I had were great. The space is small and cozy and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is a food truck outside with ample seating.

There’s way too many good wineries in Okanagan Falls to patronize a business that’s ok with keeping peoples money for nothing.

Lisa booked us in the second time and we loved our VIP Tasting! Excellent charcuterie, and sweet greeter dog! Stunning views and beautiful shop. Loved the wines and labels, very affordable and clean!
