★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely outdoor tasting area. Nice view of the lake and fantastic portfolio of wines available.
The lady who did the tasting was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. Picked up a Pinot noir and a collusion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, friendly folks and four legged friends. So many delicious wines it’s hard to choose a favourite. We sat outside in cozy shady seats and pet the pup between tastings. The vineyard is beautiful, dude seems to know his stuff. 10 out 10 would buy again:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favour and take a short detour into Kaleden and visit Black Market. Their wines are exceptional, the views breathtaking and the owners are very friendly, laid back and knowledgeable. We enjoyed some of their wines on the west coast of Vancouver Island last summer. Sweet memories!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great winery - do not miss this one. The wines are fabulous and the winemaker/owner Rob and Michelle are perfect hosts! Both really knowledgeable about wines and vines! Favorites today were Bacchus, Syrah and Merlot! Just the right amount of yummy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute must-go winery! We did a tasting at Black Market wine and each wine was incredible. The owner was so kind and friendly and walked us through each wine, teaching us about each varietal and blend along the way.
Left with a couple bottles to bring home.
Plus, Bella the pup was the cutest!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful tasting experience with Karen today at Black Market. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine, with a real passion for the industry. This is, bar none, my favourite winery in the region. With their smooth and refined reds, and fruit forward, but dry Provence style rose, there’s no doubt they will remain number one in my books. Thank you Karen, and Black Market winery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Confession: I’ve never done a wine tasting until today. Black Market was my very first, and I’m so glad. Not only was the wine amazing (which it definitely was,) but I didn’t feel any pressure to know “wine stuff.” Michelle explained the different wines so well, and made it easy to love the experience!
