The speed and quality were excellent, and when a few issues arose, they were responsive and quick to address the problems without delay. Things don’t always go perfectly but when problems do arise, that’s when you find out what type of contractor you’re really dealing with. Tony and his team were genuinely concerned and quick to respond and correct the issues, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Shipping issues caused a delay in getting some materials to complete the project (thanks Covid!), but Pat and his team were very responsive in keeping us up to date and getting our project completed as soon as they could when the materials arrived. I contacted Pat and he responded to my inquire within 1-2 days. He spoke to me about the process and the options available. BlackStar offered the best price for the job and was able to schedule me in for the following week. Blackstar came the day they said they were, completed the job, and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the quality of work, communication from ownership, and conduct of the installer. I will definitely be using their services again and referring them to others.

He did not seem honest about much actually and I did not believe anything he said. We ended up going with an honest reputable company that charged us 1/3 as much.
R	Rolando Tecson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick response for appointment and detailed quote. Unfortunately it was well out of our price range and pretty pushy sales. As much as I appreciate the speed on getting a quote the pressure sales were too much. I'd especially be wary for seniors looking for quotes as the salesman is quite persistent. There is only so much "You know we're the best right?" one can stand hearing. After hearing this repeated I stated our intent and budget as well as the average response rate (which was fairly low). I especially didn't appreciate how he was fishing for immediate feedback response on a verbal quote of 19k estimate in front of my mother when we clearly didnt have a chance to review a written quote. He hadn't even left yet after the inspection! Despite me clearly stating before-hand for whom the quote is for, we wanted a written quote and our intent that we'd be reviewing it and get back to him.

We first met Pierre who provided our estimate which was very thorough including drawing of the proposed replacement gutters. Pierre then connected us with the Blockstar team and Pat for installation. The installation team are professional, friendly, and did an extremely good job of replacing our gutters. A few areas were suggested to have downspouts removed and even after the first couple of rains since installation we see a big difference in a lack of runoff near the house. I wish that I had taken before photos to show how fabulous our house now looks with the new eaves. I also asked Pat if we could have aluminum covering on our existing facia and I received a quote in very short order and the work was done at the same time as the rest of the job. I highly recommend black star aluminum for your guttering and roofing needs. Sincerely Georgia

Exceptional product, will re-visit this review in 12 months for an update, but absolutely no reason to question the quality or the install.
