I booked a pick-up at the Whistler Athletic for 2:45 a.m. to drive to the start of a race for 4:00 a.m. on the other side of the village. I triple checked confirmation ahead of time a cab was going to be there for 2:45. I was out in front at 2:40 to wait, by 2:50 I called to see how close the cab was, I was told 7 min away. By 3:05 still a no-show. I called again to get another driver sent. At 3:10 they called me back saying first driver had come and gone from the Athletes Centre and I wasn't there, that I was the no-show (impossible). They said another driver was at least 20 min away. By 3:55 a.m. there still was no cab. I missed my dream race. I am incredibly disappointed. I pre-booked a pickup and got left in the cold, literally. Worst service i've ever encountered. Pay a bit more money for the other company in town!

Whistler taxi is hands down the worst taxi company on the planet. On Jan 1 at noon we booked a van cab for 5 people for Jan 2 at 5:30pm to the village and a 9:00 pick up home. Guess what? The cab didn’t even show up. The cab company didn’t even have the courtesy to call or notify us that they weren’t going to be on time. Luckily we found another cab company to give us a ride into the village. At 8:00 we called the company to find out what time our what was estimated to arrive. We couldn’t even get through until 8:45 when they said we were 15th in line. We had a babysitter until 9:00 and what the hell are we suppose to do now??? We had to chase down cabs in the village for 35mins to finally find a cab to pick us up and take us home. What is the point of having a booking system when you can’t follow through with requests from customers. I would beg of you to not use this company as they don’t care about customer service. I would use resort cabs and they are a lot more reliable.

This is a review of an experience that was almost a month back. So much is the bitterness they left me with. After a 35 hour hike that left me stranded at the Rubble Creek parking lot I called them for a cab. Was told it would be 25 minutes. Waited 40, nothing in sight. Called again. Was told heavy traffic in some place called function junction. I said I dont have a choice and I will wait. He said it would be another 40 minutes at least. Exhausted, I agreed. 1 hour later when I called, the operator was struggling to find my booking. Then he comes up with the same excuse, driver is stuck in traffic would you like to cancel. Hindsight- I hitchhiked and made some really cool friends. Judging by the reviews on here this company simply does not deserve to exist. If anything it should be against the law to have a company this bad. lol

My daughter was driving to Whistler alone when her car broke down. She was able to pull off the main road in a forested area. I called Whistler taxi with my safety concerns (she’s alone on the side of the highway) and they said they would take care of it. They never did call her or call me back. This company is not living up to its legal obligation. It’s absolutely wrong to do this to a person especially in an unsafe situation. I will be calling the taxi association. This is simply unacceptable. They are not meeting their obligation. Updated August 7th 2019 The BC Transportation authority is now investigating this matter. Also looking at the other reviews posted. We as consumers simply ask that public transportation companies meet their professional licensed obligation to the public and pay special attention to callers in precarious situations, after all, safety, respect and customer care is a must. Unfortunately, since the owner of Whistler Taxi switched to an offsite dispatch last year, the service of this company has gone from being great to terrible now. They have some really wonderful drivers with them who have been driving for years, and years, and I wish I could just call them direct to make a booking. Please switch back to a local dispatch who actually know what is going on in this town. Telling people it will be a 30 minute wait and having the taxi show up less than 5 minutes later angry that the guests are not waiting for him/her is not cool when they have been told a much longer wait time by the dispatcher. The only reason I am finally writing a review is in the hopes that the owner will take notice, and make a positive change.

Hands down the worst cab service I have ever experienced last night. Called for a taxi, was told 30 minute wait time, I called to check after 45 minutes where the dispatcher promptly told me I β€œshould have answered my phone” as they had called. My phone had no missed calls. I scheduled another pickup, literally exact same scenario arises again, the dispatcher starts talking sarcastically and disrespectfully towards me and hangs up on me and did not attemp to schedule another ride. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my life, if I could rate lower I would.

If you accidentally ski down to Creekside, but are staying in the village, call these guys. They even have a roof rack to hold a couple snowboards or sets of skis.

We took a taxi to Whistler Bungee and the driver told us that he was not allowed to drive on the road into the site so he dropped us on the highway. The road is completely fine! He told us that it was a 5 minute walk in to the bungee but it was actually a 3klm walk and it was Winter and very cold. Absolutely terrible service and also unsafe - leaving 2 females in the middle of nowhere!! Do not use this service. To make matters worse I also tipped the driver because I did not know that he was lying about the 5 minute walk!!!
