I had to catch a taxi to work. No Yellow cabs in the area, but there was a Co-op taxi. I got in told the driver my destination. As we are driving I notice the driver keeps tapping the screen (the fare $13.20), then the screen flickers (all of sudden the fare is $17.80). I ask what just happened, the driver ignores me. I ask again, he replies we are almost there. Obviously a scam and cash grab. The fair ended up being $29.20. I used Yellow Cab many times and never paid over $25.00 for the same fare.

Booked a mini van for the airport 3 days in advance of our trip. Usually these bookings show up a few minutes in advance. When it hadn't arrived by a couple minutes after the time, I called and was informed they were still looking for a van... "we just don't have that many". Called again, still looking.... At one point I suggested they could send two cars and charge me for one, but they said I would have to pay for both. No solutions and no service. Wouldn't think that this would be a problem booking a couple days in advance. Ending up having to "pile" family and luggage into our own vehicle and driving ourselves. Cancelled the taxi while driving to the airport, roughly 35 minutes after the booking time.

This was the worst taxi experience I have ever had. Booked a taxi the day before to go to the airport. Let them know the pick up time and that there would be four people so they could send an appropriate vehicle. Received a text at the time when they were suppose to be there saying they were two blocks away. Ten minutes later we received another text saying they were one block away. Taxi came 15 minutes late. When he got to our hotel he was not prepared for four people. The garbage in the front seat took the whole floor space and above the passenger seat. There must have been fifty empty coffee cups all kinds of garbage etc. the driver kept saying no one told him there would be four people. He moved about half the garbage and asked me if that was ok to sit in. I said no so he had to empty the rest.there was a garbage can right where the door opened. The taxi itself was disgustingly dirty. By this time we were 20 minutes late getting going so I had no time to call another cab. Driver was slow. Other cars were passing us the whole time to the airport. He said he was going the speed limit. Who knows but the stress he had already caused us was not worth engaging in any other conversation with him. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Never ever have I rode in a vehicle that was so filthy dirty and late.

Had a great experience with this company. The phone contact was professional and courteous. We requested a van to the Staybridge Suites for an airport run on April 1st in the am. They were there early and helped my wife load the luggage up. At the airport when we were double parked, the driver helped me get the rest of the luggage to the curb in a timely matter This driver , sorry, don't know name or car number, is the type you want to hire. We travel all over Canada for work and usually dread having to take a cab. This was actually the most pleasant 1/2 hr of our travel home Thanks !

I spend $125-200 on taxis weekly and today was one of the worst experiences to date. I walk up to the taxi with my arms full of groceries, he doesn't pop the trunk. That's weird, but not bad. I get in and he doesn't confirm my name or greet me in any way. He takes me long way back to my house, which is definitely a detour. Then, while driving takes his phone from his pocket and calls his dispatch, complaining about having to pick up a flat rate (a.k.a. me) loudly. Firstly, flat rate is more expensive, secondly, he was not on the phone hands free (which is illegal) and lastly he couldn't wait to complain about me until after I got out? Just ridiculous.

co-op taxi is my preference over uber always. the app is convenient showing accurate realtime taxi locations; drivers are consistent & polite. Hardev (4420) is personal fav chauffeur - he is friendly, prompt, & plays hip tunes.

I have been a customer of this company for 40 plus years & have spent thousands of dollars for their services over the years. I am so disappointed as well as disgusted by their actions as well as their lack of honesty & professionalism towards those with disabilities. Co-op taxi doesn't even have the courtesy or honesty to call back to state that there are no wheelchair vans available - they keep you on the hook where you are expecting a ride & none shows up. Even if you pre-book days in advance for a WC van they cannot guarantee transport for the disabled - wheelchair accessible vans. My appointment was at 8 am - I called them 2 hours before the appointment only to be blatantly lied to - oh a wheelchair accessible taxi is on the way. Call backs to hear the taxi is 8 minutes out - repeatedly stated on their automated system. This was a blatant lie - there were no wheelchair accessible vehicles available. The dispatchers would also not state there were none available either. Before my 8 am emergency appointment I phoned them back asking to send anything that can take a mobility scooter. Charging an extra 10 for a mini-van for a disabled customer is hugely discriminatory. 8 am arrives - no transport. I missed that appointment for an emergency surgery appointment thanks to their lie that a wheelchair accessible taxis was on its way - 2 hours waiting for wheelchair accessible taxi that was a no show. I cancelled the ride at 8 am when they didn't show up. The day after this incident - I talked to one of the drivers I know who was working that day & he told me there were zero wheelchair accessible cabs on at the time of day when I called for an emergency trip to the hospital. I have been told - "What ever they have on the road at that time is what they have to pick from is what you get. There is no guarantee you will have transport." This is bad - horrific - customer service from a company that is suppose to be disability friendly. This practice of not being honest about what wheelchair taxis are available & the bigger problem that this occurs regularly is harmful to disabled persons who need transport. Fix this. Quit letting your disabled customers down. ~~ Used the regular taxi not the WC one & awesome service... As long as its not a WC taxi - they are always right on the ball... Thank you...
