Unorganized company that rescheduled my confirmed booking and then subsequently canceled on me after letting days pass by. Offensively, the cancelation language Gentle Steam used looked to absolve themselves of any responsibility. I am now scrambling to acquire other services because of their poor diligence. If their cleaning service is anything like their professionalism, avoid!

I had a good experience renting equipment from Gentle Steam. They were very pleasant to deal with over the phone and in person when I picked up the equipment. I rented an ozone generator, air mover, and some ducting to help some bad smells out of a room. After running the ozone generator for the day and then letting the room air out it was back to a fresh condition. Thanks for your help!

I just had my 14x11' high traffic living room area rug cleaned by Gentle Steam. I owned the carpet for 4 years and I have 3 kids, never cleaned it before, it was D-I-R-T-Y!. Gentle Steam picked it up when they said they would and delivered it when they said they would, I didn't have to do anything! Now it looks like I have a brand new carpet on my living room. They did an incredible job, I am very impressed. I will be using them again and recommending them to my friends. Amazing results. Thank you Gentle Steam!!

please, be careful with those guys, they clean my house carpet, i asked them if they can do my rugs to clean it, dry and return it for me ,but after they took it, when i ask them to pick it up the triple my price and ask me $250 dollars. our initial deal was $45 dollars. i asked them why and they said i gave them a wrong measurement of the carpet and yet they are the one who came and pick it up. if they knew i gave them the wrong measurement why they don't tell me when they pick it up. i told them i can't pay 250 dollars and they say it is my problem and they still keeping it. UNTRUST WORTHY.

I ordered carpet rental machine with delivery and pickup in June 2021. The time was scheduled for delivery and I was ready with all the arrangement at home to start using the machine. My day was also arranged as per the scheduled delivery time. But few minutes before delivery I got call from gentle steam that they wont be able to deliver on time as its busy day. I asked if I can come and pick the machine. their CSRs said yes but just few minutes after that I got call again from their office. They said its not possible as machine is with delivery guy in his truck and he is in north side of the city right now. I asked for his current location and set a north side location somewhere close to where he was to make it easy. I reached there and collected the machine from the guy. As the delivery was not done as agreed, I asked to remove delivery charges from office guy. They said they will talk to manager and inform me. i never got any call back. So called again today and talked to the manager. Again manager said he will call me back. Not sure if I will get my refund back but I am not satisfied with the service at all. They are unprofessional. I2:50 PM - Just got call back from manager. He said he wont give me refund and gentle steam don't guaranty delivery time !!!!!!! (wish he told me this at time of booking) Fact is he is just not willing to accept their fault. Moveover he said I signed the form when collected the machine already so nothing we can do. :)) Its only $20 but it proved how unprofessional they are. JUST BE CAREFUL. BTW I forget to mention that they had $45 for 72 hours special but charged extra for accessory. The lady told me that they had wrong info on the website which they have updated now. Though I had also talked to their office person before I booked the machine and they never mentioned about extra charges for accessory. I don't want to spoil my day doing arguing with gentle steam so decided to let this matter go and just upload my reviews on google to warn other people. Just be careful while dealing this this company.

I've rented a ninja steam cleaner and industrial fan 3 separate times from this place- price is fair, easy instructions to follow, the enzyme cleaner is amazing and staff are always friendly. I'll never hire a company to clean my carpet or upholstery as long as I can rent this machine. I get compliments all the time on how clean my rugs are with animals and a child. Great customer service, I highly recommend to everyone. Thanks Gentle Steam!

I was travelling through Alberta and had picked up a display rug from a furniture store. They were able to squeeze the cleaning in that worked great for my travel plans. When I got home and set it out, I was extremely happy with the level of clean and how it looked as good as new.

I rented one of their carpet steam cleaners for the weekend. Pickup went well and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The machine and floor wand worked flawlessly and did exactly what I was expecting them to do. I did however experience issues using the upholstery tool which was part of the rental and I had intended to clean a few pieces of furniture. I notified them of the issue when they picked it up and was told that it would be looked at. I followed up the next day and was informed it worked fine and that there was probably just a piece of sand stuck in the nozzle. I had tried to use it several times without success and it is the same from a functionality perspective as the floor wand so I'm not sure what happened to get it working, but I accept that there's always a chance of user error. After asking for a partial refund they offered me a roughly $6.50 back of the $75 rental. I declined, and they asked me what I would like, I stated maybe a larger refund but I'd have to talk to a manager. I'm not going to grovel, so I declined and that's the reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5, staff should be enabled to do more for customer satisfaction.
