It is expensive and way overpriced for what it is. Very average pub food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great Sunday Brunch here. Living around the corner, we wanted to give this place, which has recently change owners, a try.
Service was very attentive and took care of details like placing the mugs with its handle to the left, which i adored.
After our really delicious plates, we were even asked for our opinion, as one recipe was recently modified.
Really no complains here at all, and the price was more than justified.
Comes on top that the outside terrace is cosy and illuminated, but still protected from direct sunlight. And the business is run with a good cause.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for an event (Medieval Fair 2019). The food was really basic, the noodles for the stroganoff were overcooked and really hard, the dessert (some cake) tasted like Costco bought frozen then unfrozen cake. Haven't tasted the food outside of an event. The music was good hence why I give 2 stars and not only 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great band was playing so we went for the evening. Food was mediocre. I had a burger. Meat was over done and the bun was dry or stale. Not sure which but the bun fell apart in my hands. Having said that, most of the people at our table said there suppers were great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited over two hours from placing order until receiving our food. Apologies were made only at the end, and blame was placed on the kitchen and how busy they were. Had to argue not to pay full price as we had spent over two hours and 45 minutes in the restaurant by the time we were leaving. The service was so bad that we had two different other patrons approach us and ask us why we hadn't left yet.
When we did finally get our food, both myself and my girlfriend got the wrong dishes. Once this was fixed, the food was just fine.
The atmosphere was great with live, lively comedy. Nice decor and a fun vibe.
If it weren't for the ridiculous wait time and staff who still tried to get us to pay full price after such an inconvenience, it would've been a fine. experience.
After lengthy negotiation, the staff agreed to give us the meal on the house, but it was ridiculous that after two hours the first offer we were given was 15% off and a free drink, followed by "I'll try and get some dessert on the house for you folks." Glad to see they did the right thing in the end, but still a sour way to spend an evening.

The place help people get back on the job market so be kind and tip but expect professional service nonetheless.
Good selection of beers, great food that pair well with the beer and is season-appropriate.
There is never a cover so the food is pricey but worth it.
