What a surprise. We came with no expectations and just wanted to have some food. The menu looked good so we stepped in as the only guests for lunch in the last week of October. The food was so tasty and exceptionally well arranged. It looked like in a restaurant decorated with a Michelin star. The cook is Mexican - listen, Trump - and she does an outstanding job. I highly recommend that gem of a restaurant.

We came in for lunch and at that hour the place wasn't too crowded yet we kinda had to let ourselves in as one of the hostess was taking way too much time explaining things to the people in front of us. Some dishes were good but the steak fritte the person below me so enjoyed for us was so chewy I just left it on the plate as I had a hard time cutting it even with a special steak knife. Please do something about the swarm of flies roaming around which greatly added to our discomfort while we were there.

Lovely ambiance. Friendly staff. Good food. The two of us shared the La Muse Trilogy for a starter and it was fantastic. I ordered the scallops and my husband ordered the chef's choice which turned out to be lasagna. He really enjoyed the lasagna.

+ nicely located in the city center. Comfortable and clean rooms, modern interior - room 1 and 2 very noisy due to the fact that they are directly next to the entrance and the restaurant. That it is located in the busy downtown part is nice but also means that it is not the most quiet place anyway... So you should be a night owl plus early bird or resilient to noise in general. Although we arrived mid October, the heating was not switched on and the blankets were very thin. So we had 18 degrees in our room and no additional blankets could be found anywhere. Reception is only available till early evening, so we did not have a chance to ask for another blanket or get help with the heating. Breakfast costs 10 to 16 dollars extra. Overall rating: Much too expensive for what you get here...

Wonderful experience for our first night in Baie-Saint-Paul! Modern and clean decor with nice art work. Food is upscale, nice selection with a fair amount of seafood. Started with fried zucchini flowers, came with a sort of thick creamy sauce like tzatziki but with goat cheese. The lobster tagliatelle was great, nice touch with little mushrooms. Catch of the day was delicate cod with creamy risotto and seasonal vegetables. Finally pouring chômeur for dessert, a traditional cake baked with a maple syrup sauce. Finally the service was fantastic. Our server was very patient and encouraging with our "try-hard" French, but also had no problem translating and answering questions in English. All in all a very nice dinner and evening.
