★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bike and hike trails. Washrooms on the beach are well cared and clean. However the washroom close to the firepits in the north was closed. I mean, it's fine to be closed but, on the long weekend, this could be planned ahead as there were no other washrooms close to that area where people gather together and lunch.

I really like this place. The water is cleaner than most man-made swimming holes. It is spring fed. Emptied at the end of the season and filled with fresh water in the spring.
