Beautiful beach so close to the city. Not too mention all the other amazing parts of this Provincial park! The MTB trails are pretty awesome! And all the hiking trails are great!

Its a nice park, located half an hour drive from Winnipeg. Trails are beautiful and lake is man made. Its nice to spend time here with family and friends. There is place for camping and BBQ. You should need park permit for your vehicle as many other provincial parks I suggest to buy annual permit if you want to visit more than 3 times a year.

I have been visiting here a lot over this last couple months and I’ve had a great experience every time! Large beach, cute camping spots! What else could you need?

Fantastic afternoon of peaceful walking through snow-covered woods. Kids loved feeding the chickadees! #cedarbogtrail

Love this park. Either roller blading around the park, and cooling off with a dip in the beach, or having a bon fire and camping out under the stars.. this place has it all.

I actually really enjoyed my 3 day camping trip at Birds Hill Park in September! It was easy to find our spot and the bathrooms were easily marked too. The showers were a little hard to find and I was a bit disappointed to learn they were pay showers but you get 6 minutes for $2.00 and it was enough time for me. This was my 18 month olds first camping trip and he enjoyed it just as much as me! I wish the store offered more as there wasn't really anything worth purchasing. When your tenting and have a camp stove, how are you supposed to make frozen pizza? Lol. I also wish the 2 petting zoo's were better marked or had easier directions to get too. I was only able to find 1 of them and had a hard time finding the beach as well. I will say, I booked a stop for the first week of school so I basically had the bay all to myself. I am not sure how this park feels when more sites are booked but I really I enjoyed the quiet and privacy with less people.

An expansive area with multiple trails, lakeside beaches, kids recreational areas and picnic spots, this park attracts a large number of visitors. There are a number of spots here where families or groups can spend a whole day in fun and relaxation.
