ABOUT BIRCHWOOD EQUITIES
Founded by Horst & Doris Birkholz, Birchwood Equities has always stood for quality and customer service. These principles have been the keys to their success since they founded Birkholz Homes (www.birkholzhomes.com) in 1968, building luxury handcrafted homes for his customers. A few years after starting to build single family homes in Edmonton, Mr. & Mrs. Birkholz expanded into the multi-family industry and constructed several apartments, two of which they still own and manages today. Later on in his career, he decided to split the new home and multi-family businesses, and thus Birchwood Equities was founded for the apartment business. Birchwood Equities is now managed by the next generation of Birkholz, as his son David has taken over the management of the business, and is continuing on with maintaining the legacy of safe, secure, affordable and quality rental accommodations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived at the Royal Park for more than 20 years. I have seen Owners come and go, Managers come and go, and residents come and go. It has been a joy to live here, so close to the downtown core, grocery stores and coffee shops nearby, and easy access to all parts of the city by bus and LRT.
But more than that, and especially under the ownership of Birchwood Equities and as Managed by Harold and Tammy, this place has become a home for me and its residents and managers and owner my family. Truly, a safe place in every way.
I would highly recommend Birchwood Equities Apartments to anyone wanting a place of peace and quiet, a place well managed, a place where the owners really care, personally, and yet, professionally, are proactive and keep their properties in excellent condition with high standards of living and management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm coming on living 9 years in a Birchwood apartment, and I can't say enough good things about it. It really does make a huge difference having the building owners live in the same city, and especially having resident managers who live right in the same building with you. On the rare occasion that suite issues have come up, they were handled extremely fast, and quite professionally.
If you're in the market for a new place, don't hesitate to check these guys out. It's a world away from the giant faceless rental companies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived at Royal Parks now for almost three years and have had nothing short of an ideal renting experience. The building is incredibly well kept and the building managers put their heart and soul into caring for the building and the residences.
The building itself is in an ideal location. Lots of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, and is only a 10 minute walk to the river valley.
I could not be happier renting with Birchwood Equities

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm going on my second year living in a Birchwood Equities building and have zero regrets at having moved here from my previous residence.
The building is very secure, well maintained and cleaned regularly. Management is responsive to any issues that you may have and genuinely care about their residents' comfort and happiness.
If you're lucky enough to have Harold as your building manager, you're in for a treat. While he does not live on-site, he's always been very quick to respond to any text messages or calls and is on-site weekly (if not more often) to ensure the building is clean and maintained. He's very open, honest and comes off as a very caring person.
Upon move-in the apartment was immaculate and freshly painted and we were even provided with a gift basket filled with all the essentials any first-time apartment renter may need. Harold followed up with us several times after our move-in to ensure that there were zero issues with our new space. We've had very few issues since moving here but anything that has come up has been dealt with quickly and very much to our satisfaction.
If you're in the market for an apartment I would very much recommend Birchwood Equities.

My building has on-site building managers who work very hard to keep the property clean, accessible, and safe. If any issues arise they’re dealt with quickly and professionally. They really care about their tenants and go above and beyond to make the building like home.

Everyone I've dealt with has always been kind, courteous, and prompt. They care about their tenants and strive to create great environments in their buildings. Highly recommend renting with them.
