Reception people are very unethical and discriminative to certain extant. I set follow up appointment a month ago on Dec 4 at 11am and I arrived on time. After 40 min of wait I found out that receptionist cancelled my appointment without any of my consent neither they gave a call prior to the appointment date to inform me. After me I waiting for 40 min, upon my enquiry receptionist disclosed about the cancellation. Very unprofessional behavior and felt disrespectful, be carefull folks with the appointment schedule at Bioped Markham location.

Just ordered the orthotics for myself and my husband again this year. The Chiropodist Sarlene is very professional and patience. She paid attention to every little details during the assessment. The girl at the front desk, Patty, is very friendly and nice. She called to reconfirm my follow up appointment for picking up the orthotics. They also have a capacity limit within the store. It’s a very pleasant experience.

We were early however had to wait 50 minutes to be seen for a follow up appointment because the receptionist booked us at the same time the chiropodist had a meeting at 3 pm! The whole appointment ended up only taking 5 minutes for the both of us. Not to mention that the receptionist Patty has been rude and dismissive towards us during our initial meeting and follow up meeting. The chiropodist was very knowledgeable and friendly, however we would not return to this Bioped anymore. Response to owner reply: The receptionist was quite dismissive and rude on more than one occasion to us. I don't see how it makes sense to have your clients wait 50 mins to fit 1 pair of shoe. The other shoe you already had because I purchased it at the store. Perhaps consider changing your standard of practise. I've been to other Biopeds in the GTA and have never experienced this.

My second experience was not great though since I got cancelled on twice and rescheduled both times last minute. I need to pick up my orthodics to submit the papers to insurance. I am thinking of going to a different provider next time.

He also performed a quick and minor adjustment which seemed to have helped. His honesty and care was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak to me and help me!
