i broke down in Grande cache. Hinton Big Rock was the closest place. I talked with a few people and all were very helpful. Trudy stands out as being right there, as much as she could be an hour and a half away. the work was done quicker than quoted and no problems since. really friendly and fast great service ? I would go there next time I needed work except they're 4 hours from my home. thanks ? Big Rock. excellent service and work.

Great small town value dealership, not owned by a corporate conglomerate. Morgan the service Manager is amazing, she cares deeply about customers and more importantly doing the right thing. Breathe of fresh air in a time when doing the right things by the customer is getting tougher to find. She's invaluable, and it's the sign of a dealership that allows their people to make great relationships.

Do not take your vehicle here for warranty work! We were driving from GP to BC when we started having obvious rear differential problems. We checked the oil level in the diff in Hinton and it was undetectable, you couldn’t get any on your finger. We stayed the night in Hinton and were at the dealership first thing in the morning. We took a video of the sound it was making as well as a video of us checking the oil level so we could prove it was low. We showed the videos to the advisor and she agreed the sound was definitely not good. After waiting 2 hours, we were told they could not duplicate the noise, that the oil was darker than usual but apparently full. The advisor also told us we need a special tool to check the oil level, if you can believe that! They wrote on the service report that it was full but no mention of color. The mechanic didn’t care to watch the videos. We were not satisfied with the answer so we took the truck on the highway for 20 minutes and brought it straight back when it was making the noise. The advisor brought the mechanic out and he agreed he could hear it but said it definitely was not the diff (even though they refused to open the diff and inspect unless we paid). He said it was possibly something else so they put it up on the hoist. They checked everything out and said mechanically it was fine and safe to drive. He said he spun the diff and it didn’t make any noise.. obviously because the truck was on the hoist and the wheels were straight. The advisor actually had the nerve to tell us that “sometimes vehicles just start making noise and it’s normal.” We checked the oil again ourselves and it was full. Keep in mind it was not full when we first got to the dealership, we have video proof. We carry on to BC and get our truck in the next day at the Langley dealership. They watched the video and opened the diff to inspect it. They called us within a couple hours and we are now getting the diff completely rebuilt under warranty. To say I am angry is an absolute understatement. The Hinton dealership not only wasted our time but put us in a potentially dangerous situation by telling us it was safe to drive to BC with our baby in tow when in fact the rear diff needs to be rebuilt. DO NOT GO HERE!!

On my way to Vancouver from Saskatchewan, I experienced my first bout of the 'death wobble' in my Jeep Wrangler.I stopped at Big Rock Jeep/Chrysler in Hinton, Alberta and within minutes, I was able to drive my Jeep into the shop. Just over an hour later, a diagnosis was made unfortunately, the dealership did not have the part in stock. Words fail to describe how utterly impressed I am with the level of service provided by Big Rock... from the service personnel to the technician as well as, the friendliness of the sales staff. Thank you so, so much for being so kind and so helpful... I must add that the Big Rock did not charge me one cent for their time and labour which is huge as we make our way through the increased greed associated with the pandemic!

Had a very pleasant experience with Big Rock in Hinton. I brought my ‘07 Jeep Liberty in to be serviced and ended up sharing with them that I wanted a full inspection as I was about to embark on a cross-Canada excursion with a UHaul trailer attached. They were very thorough and explained everything in detail that I didn’t look up to par. Rachel and Morgan were great to work with as well as the technicians. I even spoke with the sales team and they were very friendly and down to earth! Rachel was willing to work with me, although I did not get all of the work done that was listed… I am impressed with the work that was done. Happy to say that I made it safe and sound to southern Ontario with zero issues. Highly recommend.
