Took out the old window without scaring the existing trim. Replaced the window and completely cleaned up. They were courteous, quick and very competent. I highly recommend Big City Glass

Bruce was easy to communicate with and the job was done exactly as he explained it. They were able to safely remove an original leaded glass window, and reinstall it over the new energy-efficient window. I am very pleased with the results.
The team cleaned up very well, and everyone could not have been nicer! I would highly recommend this company!

I called Big City Glass; a local business with great reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. I had a very pleasant experience working with Bruce. The job got done well for a very reasonable price. He even did a fix on another window for free . I highly recommend this company for all your window related needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had some unanswered questions about the efficacity of these units versus single-paned or de-gassed double-paned windows.
Possible due to covid, our order took quite some time to actually happen. The glass units were the main holdup as they were shipped from elsewhere, but once Big City had them in stock they scheduled an installation date.
Installation was fast and professional. The only issue that I noticed was that there was a little piece of plastic on the outside of our sliding glass door which was inexplicably never installed. The piece that was there was broken or taken by Big City and when I asked about finishing the job, was told "I can't find it, it was not included in the price. I said I would try to find a piece to replace it but was unable to. If I come across a door like that, I will keep the stops and let you know I have them."
In short, make sure that this contractor doesn't remove part of your house and leave you to fix it yourself. The price was pretty fair compared to others in the area, but this last missed detail was annoying. When I asked to find out what the piece is called and where I might find it, the contractor never responded. I guess that they got paid and decided to just call it a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bruce and his crew were friendly, punctual, respectful and genuinely great at their job. They took great care of our house and our belongings while installing the windows and doors, worked in coordination with our painter, and were even very friendly with our cats! We also wanted to change some of the siding to cedar shake and they did this for us as well. If there were touch ups required, Bruce came as soon as he could fit it in to help out. As I was going through the rebate process, I needed a LOT of help from Bruce and he was extremely responsive and so easy to work with.
We have and will absolutely continue to recommend Big City Glass to anyone needing window installation or repair.

Quick response and able to get the special order materials on-site pretty quickly. Good folks to work with, good communication, clean and organized while installing, nice result, and decent value. Very happy.
