They take loonies or toonies and then inside we take tap cards ect. Visa debit won't work in the machines! We also only sell new reloadable cards for 40 dollars (+10 free) so 50 on the card total. Sorry about frustration with coins ect!!

I finished washing my car and took 2 MINUTES to wipe my window and mirror of any water and she got very upset saying I was taking too long and holding the line up, I only took 3 minutes to wash my car. While I was cleaning she was also walking around me and trying to get in my way and I didn’t say a word. She then walked to the office, grabbed her phone and took a picture of my license plate as I was leaving. I was nice the whole time, but she was rude. Obviously all the bad reviews are about the same older lady we, and should be fired. This lady needs customer service training and maybe to take the stick out from where it’s shoved up. Was happy until I went here.

After washing my truck I was slowly backing out and noticed an employee, older Lady with short grey hair had come up behind me as I was backing up to change the garbage. I couldn’t help to think what a silly idea it is to come up behind someone as they are backing out with all the windows steamed up from the wash. I stopped midway to assess exactly where she was and confirmed it was safe to proceed. As i continued to back out I yeard some yelling so I rolled my window down. The lady then comes right up to my window and yells “you Almost ran me over” Stunned at first I didnt know what to say. The look on her face was pure evil and she was obviously angry. I explained It was hard to see anything as she was in my blind spot but I was being very cautious. Without any warning she starts screaming at me threatening to take a pic of my truck. I get out of the truck to talk to my wife who is next to me washing our other vehicle. Lady continues screaming at me. I finally gave her a peice of my mind I wasn’t taking her abuse. She calls the police so I park outside and wait. Police interview us both and in the end tell me I’m banned. No more Big Bucket for me. What a crazy situation this lady needs help and shouldn’t be dealing with the public.

I got the deluxe wash and it left a very obvious white residue in the pattern of the wash equipment on the left side of my car. The service guy on site couldn't address the issue and directed me to call the manager about it, who tried to pass it off as 'reside from the road after it rains'. I was eventually given $3.50 in wash credit to re-wash it myself by hand, and still had to pay out of pocket to rinse off the foam brush. The manager also made sure to let me know that I was only getting partially refunded because I paid for the more expensive ($14) car wash, not the cheap one ($12) that only gets used for "rental cars" in his words. I was able to wash it off the car but still have white reside on my tires.

Have used this car wash for the 4 years I’ve lived in Calgary, never again. Owner is a penny pincher and is willing to turn away good business. What a joke of a company
