★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words really can't express how affirming and relaxing it is to be able to access a barbershop that is trans owned and operated. I moved to Vancouver a year and a half ago and have loved coming to Big Bro's for haircuts ever since. The owner, Jessie, is extremely kind and personable (and offers sliding scale prices for all cuts!) and Lia is always a pleasure to speak with as well. Both are great and you be in really competent hands!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been long time customers of Zed's and enjoyed the haircuts, loving treatment and family-friendly vibe of the shop. Zed will listen to what a kid wants for their own hair and try to help a kid achieve the look they want for their own gender! We book appointments every eight weeks or so, months and months in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words cannot explain how happy I am with Big Bros. I brought my 4 year old in for a drastic cut. I am absolutely in awe with the amount of patience that Lia had with him. From walking in the door to leaving, we were made to feel at home. I have never seen such an inclusive space for people to be themselves. We will be going back and telling all of our friends.

It was one of those kinds where you leave the shop and you don’t know what to think because your hair has never looked like this before, but after a few days I can definitely say it was an excellent experience and my hair looks fantastic. My young adult kid's lush mane never looked better than it has since Skylar got shears on it. Very welcoming people and atmosphere. 100% worth both the long wait for our appointments and the drive from Guildford. See you again! Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just had the best experience getting my hair colored and cut by Zed Payne. The store has the best safest happiest vibe I felt so comfortable.
My hair feels so good and Zed did an amazing job. I cannot recommend the services at this shop enough. My male partner also went here and he had a great time as well!
