Very nice beach. My family and I go there several times a year to enjoy the sunsets, waves and marine life. Fresh ocean air. And morning runs are perfect for this place. Thanks to the amazing Canadian nature.

Really nice beach. Plenty of space to spread out and have some privacy of you want it, a few picnic tables placed around and a small parking lot. Tidal pools, a shipwreck, great views and plenty of sun (if it's not cloudy). It is a pretty exposed beach, so it's not the best on a really windy day... And as usual, be careful exploring out on the rocks... Big waves combined with a rising tide can get you in trouble fast. Rocks can be slippery too.

Great little natural beach that's protected from the waves. Also lots of beautiful rock formations to explore. Just be careful because the rocks can be slippery at times.

Great looking natural beach. Along the Wild Pacific Trail and an ideal place to start. Note that the Trail requires you to walk through Black Rock Resort so don't think you have it wrong. Otherwise, Big Beach also has a good picnic area. The parking lot to the beach is a bit small (space for car vehicles or so).

What a magical beach in Ucluelet! Free parking, green meadows, beautiful views, and just 5 minutes drive from Ucluelet center. Super fun little walk along the beach.

Came at low tide to climb among the rocks. Tons of hermit crabs and a few sea annenomes and urchins. And found one sea star...sadly not many left. But so beautiful to just be there and watch the crashing waves too.

You can't go to Ucluelet and not visit Big Beach. A stunning piece of oceanside with natural beauty. I could sit and watch the waves crash the black rock for hours. Protip: go during storm season to see what mother earth is really capable of. You'll appreciate all we have on this planet.
