M	Mike Riley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Black Rock Resort. Our room was quiet and clean, we had a rainforest view room in the main lodge. The outlook was beautiful and we could even see the ocean from our patio. Both the lounge and restaurant had fantastic food, although a couple of more vegetarian options would be appreciated. The servers were friendly and conscientious and did a great job. Carlos at the front desk was awesome, super helpful and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be returning.

Josh the manager was very pleasant and was attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the restaurant service as well as staff were very friendly and food were very delicious. The bread was to die for, fresh and perfectly seeded. We attended the trivia night at the lounge and it was something we really enjoyed alongside the local patrons. This place is a must visit resort if you want to avoid the busy and overpriced accommodations in tofino

That has a decent selection of restaurants and cafes plus a grocery store. The accommodation is lovely and comfortable. Well maintained and very clean. We had a drink in the lounge bar during "Happy hour" - there's not much on the menu though!

It was a beautiful atmosphere and I can imagine that the view was beautiful (unfortunately we were there after dark). Our server was very nice and made sure to provide all necessary details of the food and shared some recommendations for the next leg of our trip. I was very happy we made the decision to treat ourselves to dinner at the Black Rock Resort, it was well worth it!
D	Danica Berard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was an entire film crew staying during our visit last summer which was odd but overall great resort! Rooms are beautiful and the views are amazing! No air conditioning but it usually doesn't get super hot there in the summer (unfortunately we were there during the heat dome so it was pretty warm but we just left the patio door open at night. There are a bunch of great walking trails along the resort and it's only a short drive from town. The hot tubs were great for after surfing :) There isn't much open after 8pm in town, including restaurants so plan ahead!
J	Josh Jenkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful... Jasper was a delight to have take care of our check in experience, and a couple more interactions. The room we stayed in was large, well fitted, comfortable and had a wonderful view. With the layout of the resort, virtually every room has some level of ocean view and/or a view of natural wild west coast beauty. The pool/hot tub area could use an upgrade, but still sufficient and a great experience being able to sit in a hot tub and look out over the waves crashing against the rocks. The West coast is majestic and inspiring, and this resort does a fantastic job encompassing that. It's great to see the efforts to continue to improve the facilities, as well. Way to go Black Rock Oceanfront Resort... Keep up the good work!
B	Bonnie Staley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a wonderful experience, the staff was friendly, very helpful, they went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I felt right at home. All the suites overlook the ocean and black rocks of Big Beach, a awesome sight to see the waves crashing on the rocks well worth the trip just to see the black rocks. Our suite was large and bright and very clean, I found it to be very relaxing and comfortable. We can not forget the food, it was absolutely delicious, everything we had was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I am definitely planning on going back.

There's a lovely rocky beach with some calm protected water at certain tides to wander around. All the suites, even the "trail view" ones seem to have some sort of ocean view. Suites are spacious, well appointed and clean with great bathrooms. The kitchens are well stocked with everything you would need. The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lounge has a stunning view and the pool/hot tubs are great. We highly enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
