★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first visit to Bienvenidos Latin Market (in March 2019) was really positive. The staff at the store was very friendly; the selection of products was very good and interesting (we bought several items); and the food on offer was very tasty: the tamales were very good; and the "Chilean empanada" was amazing --- so much so that we took a few to go... I know that we will be back there soon and I highly recommend this store/restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just moved to Ottawa and was extremely pleased to discover Bienvenidos. I went for the first time today and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The store is spotlessly clean and very well stocked. There is a great selection of dried chiles, including some that are otherwise hard to find (cascabels, pequins, etc.). There is also a good selection of Mexican cheeses. This was my first visit but I will be sure to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't find Tajin at any other supermarkets in the area so I decided to try here. It's a cute little store that is very clean inside. The staff were very friendly too! My husband and I were in a bit of a rush when we went, but he told me he wants to go back because it was such a nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A coworker of mine told me they had great empanadas here and when I told him I've never had one before, he immediately dragged me over here and I'm now hooked. I'm not really able to judge them if they're authentic or not, but I can confidently say they taste amazing.
I have been recommending this place to countless friends and one of my friends is Latino and he never heard of this place before so I brought him here. He immediately lit up like a kid in a candy store because he saw so many snacks and drinks from back home.
The staff is also extremely friendly, service is quick and they have a great selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and organized store with an awesome staff that are very polite and helpful.
Tried the Alfajores (sweet pastry) and they were really good. Just the right amount of sweetness.
Also tried the Pastelito (stuffed crust) and it was really good with the garlic dip. I did find it a bit expensive for the size of it, but the flavour is really good.
