★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The northview unit of the boys and girls club of durham was my home away from home for my college and young adult life. I spent much of my weeknights here striving to provide a constructive, safe environment for the communities youth to attend night after night. The best times of my life have been with the people here and the best experiences are with the children here. I look forward to resume my involvement here for not only myself, but my children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a counsellor at the boys and girls club in ajax at Bolton C. Falby, public school, and I was treated poorly by my co-workers, especially by another counsellor named Ephraim Mebrahtu, and my supervisor Taylor Russell and her supervisors did little to help me feel like I was in a safe environment.
I had panic attacks due to the way that I was being treated, I felt humiliated and bullied during the time I spent there.
The only positive of working here is working with the children.
Terrible experience. Don’t work here if you stand up for yourself because they will fire you, for being outspoken

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use to be a counsellor here, a lot of great memories with the staff and kids. They put on so many special events for the community. It was a privilege working there and volunteering there for so many years. It's a great place for kids to grow and come out of their shell. Camp songs and camp games were a must when I was there. Nothing better than hearing 100+ kids chanting the banana song. The energy there is amazing. The facility has a gym, games room, computer room, craft room and more more awesome things. I can't wait until Covid is over so I can enroll my daughter.
