★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kenmore powerhead for my built-in home vacuum system needed to be replaced after 30+ years. I live in the TriCities area (in BC) and visited the various local vacuum cleaner dealers and repair shops. Majority of these businesses had minimal to no stock of new powerheads for built-in vacuum systems. Entering these shops felt like you were walking into a junkyard of vacuum cleaner parts, as they were piled on every space available. At times, there was no person to greet you when you entered these shops, and no one came to help, when you yelled "Hello??".
But, Best Built-In Centre in Coquitlam is the opposite. Terry, the sales staff was welcoming, knowledgable, friendly, approachable, listened to what I wanted, and directed me to what my best options were. He provided an honest Pro and Con list for each product, which made it easier to make a decision...not to mention that the store had the best prices compared to their competitors.
I purchased a new Airstream Power head (model: BC6115BK, type: DS1601B), based on Terry's recommendation. He graciously included an adaptor wand that would allow the new powerhead to connect to my existing system. The new powerhead is so much quieter than my old one, it has a LED light to see under furniture, and it has 5 height settings.
Terry, thank you for your help and knowledge, my two boys don't mind vacuuming our home with the new powerhead!!! :)
I would recommend dropping by this business and speaking with Terry, if you are in the market for a new, or replacing, a built-in vacuum system and/or any of its accessories.
