★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop is excellent (my family always gets paint there) This was my first time ordering online... I'm a colour expert so the idea of ordering just from a screen (that changes how the colours look) was frightening because of my urge for perfection. The site is a little glitchy (I got a "server error" and resent it, got 1 order confirmation), but because the wonderful staff email when they are actually working on the order, the error was corrected before any problem happened. My project is looking great ?

I went two paint stores on Friday, the first one, while polite, would not help me, said my paint chip wasn’t large enough and I only wanted a quart so they were unable to help. With the same paint chip I went to second to Benjamin Moore store in Kensington. Was helped by Darlene Hewitt who confirmed the chip was a bit small but she would do her best. Well her best was perfect, could not have been a better match! I will go there for all my paint needs in future.

What this means is stores like West Hillhurst have the ability to excel beyond the confines of a giant corporation. They are hands on with homeowners, projects and customer service. They offer some of the best colour matching in the city and they genuinely enjoy and are great at what they do and it is very noticeable.

They provide thoughtful product advice and really accurate colour matches. Also great that unlike other paint stores, this one is locally owned.

They also had plenty of helpful tips and carried all of the other things I needed for my project. Oh and they also rented me a pressure washer for a great price. Thanks!
