Park in Belcarra Picnic area and walk to the trail head.
The view and beach at the end of the trail is perfect. You can also kayak and swim in the water at the picnic area. We kayaked to Jug island aswell as doing the hike. You can rent kayaks there at Takaya.
You have to pay for parking anywhere in the regional park! It's free from 7am-10am and then $2 an hour from 10am. Maximum price will be $12 if you stay 6 hours or more :)
It's so busy here!! Arrive before 9am for a guarantee d spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great place to chill and relax with your closest ones! Went there during Canada Day, it was definitely full of people. I rented the kayak for 2 people which is $55/2hours and it was so worth it ♥️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is another one of the most beautiful places in and around Vancouver. This has a lot of picnic areas, fishing areas and so on. There are a number of trails in and around this area. Jug island beach trail is one of them which we did. Given a chance we would definitely go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Belcarra Park last year, and I was blown away. The park is not only one of the largest in Vancouver, but it is also one of the most beautiful parks in the city. With its flowers, greenery, and picnic areas, it's a breathtaking place to visit. The trails are gorgeous!
