If there was a negative star J would have put that here. One month after having submitted my clam, my case still on going with no end at sight. Every time I called is when my file get reviewed. They never sent permission to the giraffe to assess the damage, once they received the estimate to fix the car they did not contact me or notify me of there decision , nor did they contact the shop. When I called they say they will stop pay for the rental car and even after weeks of waiting still no change. When I decided to get another car they told me I have to pay insurance for two cars, since I have an existing clam on the other car ( they jacked the price high too). Keep in mind I have to call this guys 2-3 times a week, with wait time of up to 1 hr on the phone. Highly incompetent service, worst experience ever. I will not recommend this company to any one. Ps if you are not a customer yet stay away.

First time car buyer. I got my car insurance from Belair. They are not explaining everything about the agreement. After 6 months they increased my insurance price for no reason and they are claiming that there was a discount and it's not continuing anymore. They never told me about the discount at the beginning. When I call them they are only saying " I understand your situation " they have some script they just keep reading it. They don't help you about it. I have made a deal for 12 months even in the contract I have fix price for 12 months but now From april to august I have new price. I need to pay extra 75$ per month. I also got my G Driver license they actually did not bother to do some discount for G License even they told me when I signed for the agreement, there will be discount when you got your G driver license. Their call support very bad and rude. I was on the phone over 45 minutes after 15 minutes the agent stopped talking. I just did not hang up the phone waited 30 minutes more still no talk or anything and the agent hang up the phone ! I was paying 370$ now I am paying 445$ and I need to pay this amount for 6 months. I will never go with this company never ever ! Just avoid this Company. I don't even want to call it. They are just scamming people !

Claims agent is not very responsive and incredibly frustrating. Heads up, it may take 3 weeks to get an answer as to the fate of your car- which is fine (if they communicate that from the start). Do not trust them to follow through with things though. They were to mail me my plates (I got in an accident while moving provinces) and they say they were delivered to address on file, but they have not been. They said they were hand received the day prior to them officially writing my car off (not sure how that’s possible) but they did not get the name of who they gave them to and no one at that address actually received them. I’ve tried following up for a week now and they have seemingly gone mia. No one will answer. For an insurance company to not be able to provide proof that this important item was delivered seems ironic… can I provide no proof and say an accident wasn’t my fault? Just be cautious when going with this company as they are extremely difficult to work with. I would not recommend them.

Excellent experience and the executives have very good knowledge about the policy and related rules. They explain all details in simple way and give clarifications to all questions. They respond on time and provide all necessary information with accuracy. I hope this same experience will be there in case of any claims as well. As of now I have excellent experience with belairdirect.

This is the worst insurance company ever. Do not waste your money here. I unfortunately had to make my first claim because someone had side swiped my car, they tried going into my lane when they were RIGHT BESIDE my car so they clearly did not look if there was a car. I have dashcam footage of the accident, should be a simple claim. It has now been a month, I have called several times to try and reach my adjuster, and the reps kept giving me the run around. I was told that it would be dealt with before I pick up my car from the shop. The day before I picked up my car I called to ask what was taking so long, and the customer service rep told me that my adjuster would be in tomorrow and they will put an urgent order in. I called the day of and asked to talk to my adjuster, only to find out they’ve been “out of office” and that they can’t do anything to help me. The rep sounded like he was high and was clueless. I go to pick up my car and was forced to pay my $1000 deductible only to find THERE IS STILL DAMAGE ON MY CAR. They say they will take care of it but refused to refund me the $1000 deductible that I shouldn’t even be paying! Wasted my time, money and to drive all the way there. I’m absolutely livid and will be leaving this company, don’t wast your money. This company is a huge scam.

I had the best customer service experience I have ever received from this company today. Gene Gagne explained absolutely everything to me to help me understand the ins and outs of my policy instead of just brushing me off with a "well it changed because of " like most of the other agents I have spoken with do. He even broke down the quotes I was asking for into different categories and price points with explanations to go along with each one. Gene, if you see this, thank you again! I would rate higher than a 5 star if I could!

absolutely AWFUL customer service! sure rates are cheap with this ‘company’ but keep in mind you definitely get what you pay for… I unfortunately had to make a claim through Belair and was looking for nothing but guidance and even that was asking too much. If you do choose to insure with them, I wish you the best of luck trying to reach an adjuster if ever needed. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. If my adjuster sees this PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CALL ME BACK!!! UPDATE: After FINALLY receiving a call from my adjuster I was left absolutely speechless. She had told me the exact same thing the countless other “representatives” told me (which was an over view of my coverage) and that there was nothing she could do. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS CANCEL INSURANCE ON A CAR I NO LONGER HAVE!!!!! Why was I told to wait for an adjuster just for my adjuster to tell me I need to contact sales???? THE BIGGEST JOKE EVER!! Save yourself the headache and pay the extra $5 a month because this SCAM of a company is not worth your time. I do not write reviews - I would never add an update to a review, but I am truly and utterly speechless. Train your employees and DO BETTER!!
