James Bel, BSc, DDS, Dip. Endo
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Dr. Bel completed a BSc in Biology at Lakehead University before entering the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. He practiced general dentistry in Thunder Bay before attending Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine specializing in Endodontics under the expert guidance of Dr. Herbert Schilder. Dr. Bel attends numerous continuing education courses each year to keep up to date with new advances within endodontics and dentistry in general.
For over 27 years, Dr. Bel has been a member in good standing of the Thunder Bay Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Endodontists, the Canadian Academy of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and Boston Universtity Endodontic Alumni Association. Dr. Bel is also registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have had a perfectly fine history with Dr Bel James. I have seen him twice over the last 8 years; the team x-rayed me and both times he showed me the problem, explained the situation, and allowed me to make a decision. Both times, I could have went with treatment or could have not gone with treatment, the teeth (were in the gray area). Both times I went without the treatment, so I can't really give five stars until I see some of his work. Friendly, courteous staff though. Professional Doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a fairly invasive procedure done and after the freezing came out I expected some sensitivity or tenderness....NOTHING. If I didn't know anybetter I honestly wouldn't even know I had work done on this tooth (top front) !! Dr Bel is AMAZING as well as his courteous and patient staff!
