★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were fun, friendly, and helped me pick out quality yarn for a crochet project that was still relatively affordable. So grateful as a beginner that they were so willing to answer my questions.
My only critique is that because they specialize on such high-quality yarn, it can be hard to find affordable yarn for smaller projects you wouldn't want to spend as much on (like little amigurumi projects) where you need small quantities of many different colours. That said, there were a few amigurumi-oriented kits of smaller quantities.

Building is older so there are some low steps to contend with, but overall very accessible for mobility aids with generous spacing and easy access to displays.

It’s well worth walking in for wonderful words of woolly-wisdom - conversation to get you wover any knitting problem. They have a wide range of practical services that will provide a real leg up on your project - and when you give your knitted treasure to someone, you’ll be proud of the knitting community that helped you achieve it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Beehive Wool Shop today and am so glad I did! I had been in the store once before and had a good experience. This time I was considering ordering online, but I needed some advice regarding yarn selection for a sweater. This is only the second sweater I will have knit, so I had a lot of questions. I received such great customer service! All my questions were answered and I left with some beautiful yarn. Here it is swatched (pre-blocking) and wow! So excited to knit this into a sweater. Will definitely be returning!
