★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem of in-town undeveloped woodland trails, great for dogs and people to enjoy a shaded, cool walk by the lake. Expect horses and control your dogs so as not to spook them and cause injury. Lake water, however is unsafe for dogs to drink or swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dog run for my golden doodle for off leash escapades amongst the trees, gravel and mud paths, in the lake or in a grassy field chasing the rabbits. Free parking and not heavily travelled on Sunday afternoons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not fenced in and technically runs along the very busy highway, but it is separated by shrubbery and a side road before you meet the highway. There are a *ton* of bunnies here always, which is good to be aware of if your pup is likely to chase small animals.
The grassy field is quite large, so the intermingling of dogs can be lesser than some of the smaller/busier dog parks. Elk Lake is right there with endless trails to adventure, too. It's a really pretty spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic field and trails to take your dog for a run and a walk! Lots of other dogs and people to meet and have a doggie meet & greet. Doggie poop bags are provided. Couldn't imagine not having this wonderful area for my trusty dog!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to hike with the dog. Would like to see a sign with the current status of the toxic algae posted like the forest fire danger signs. If it's dangerous for the dogs, it's probably not safe for the kids!
