About Beauty Lab AB
Janice Ewan, RN is a Registered Nurse with 13 years experience in surgical, critical and ambulatory care. Her passion for helping people recover and feel better after big surgeries or minor procedures is what drives her. Janice resides in Red Deer, AB.
She became a Cosmetic Nurse Injector after completing Beauty Lab Academy, with Master Injector Monica in March 2021. Being a Nurse Injector allows her to continue her passion for helping people feel better. She loves the confidence boost and increased self esteem cosmetic treatments can give to people, and wants to help her clients feel their absolute best.
Her focus is always on natural results and educating clients about aging and all things medical aesthetics. She is also passionate about education and continuous learning as a professional. She has taken multiple medical aesthetics courses since completing Beauty Lab Academy to ensure the best natural results, with the latest techniques, and the highest safety standards for her clients.
When she is not in the clinic she is working at the hospital, and is a busy Mom of 3 children, and one Golden Retriever.

After completing the course, Monica offers an internship, which is an excellent way to build on your confidence and skills, and get in more practice, all while she’s right there to help, support and guide-which I absolutely loved about this course! Monica is a great mentor/teacher, she shares all her knowledge and goes above and beyond for her students! Even after completing my training, there is still ongoing support from Monica whenever I have a question/concern. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in aesthetic nursing. It is definitely a one-of-a-kind course!

When I had the opportunity to see her do her thing as a trainer during a session at our clinic — I was blown away and first hand got to witness why she was so highly revered! She displayed such a deep knowledge of facial anatomy, injecting techniques and product knowledge while simultaneously being able to effectively convey that knowledge to our novice injectors with ease. The training was invaluable to our team. Also, from a hiring perspective, we have hired a few nurses that were fortunate enough to do extensive one-on-one training at Beauty Lab with Monica — these nurses were able to apply their training and have been some of the best new hires we’ve had! As a clinic owner, when hiring amongst a sea of new injectors, Beauty Lab trainees have typically shown us a quick ability to hit the ground running :)
