Tamara Nahhas needs to learn her job, she pretends from my wife $500 at the first appointment for further checkups. Really?? She lacks of professionalism. Do not trust her .

Beautiful Babies is so wonderful! Gina, their receptionist is super friendly, helpful and accommodating! I was under the care of their group of three midwives and when it came time to deliver, the two that were on call were delivering another baby. Though they were busy with someone else, they responded promptly to my page, called ahead to the hospital for ne, and when they realized how quickly my baby was coming, had the midwife who was on her day off come in from home. She was there within 20 minutes and ready to deliver the baby. My appointments were always on time and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and everything was explained in detail with handouts given for the important things! I would highly recommend these midwives to anyone looking for a care provider. They're the best!!

We had a wonderful experience with Beautiful Babies Midwifery. Shannon and Stephanie (green team) looked after us and we were very pleased with the care and attention we received. My wife has difficult pregnancies and more difficult deliveries. Things weren't easy for her, but we felt comfortable knowing Shannon and Stephanie were at the helm. Our fourth baby was delivered by Shannon and even though the expected complications did arrive, Shannon was professional and capable, and everything worked out beautifully. We highly recommend Shannon and Stephanie and we have only heard good things about the other teams as well.

I question their professionalism after not being able to notice when the membranes were ruptured during my more than 30 hr labor. They noticed it 5 hours later, so I was totally exhausted by the time they ask me to start pushing. They seduced me so I couldn’t even speak and tell them that I should start pushing…which was difficult anyways due to the drugs they gave me. They were always TOO BUSY to answer questions before my labor. I read most of the books they had in their library and still had unanswered questions…with more communication I would had been able to get through my labor faster! They were NOT COMFORTING and were not available enough. I think they take on way too many clients without being able to provide sufficient time for each client.

I am giving Beautiful Babies Midwifery one star because that is the only option. If it was a choice I would not even given them one star. My very first experience booking my appointment was pleasant. They agreed to take me on as a patient and provided me with a requisition. Three weeks later I received a call that the midwife I had been assigned to was actually going to go on holiday when I am due. In the meantime, I had obviously turned down other midwives, as I had already secured one. At first the receptionist Gina was suggesting I move to the other team of midwives (which was two midwives instead of just the one). I agreed to this but there must have been slight disappointment in my voice given my appointment time was being moved and I had been asked to switch to a team of two instead of one constant person. Regardless of this I began to tell Gina that this was okay and she abruptly told me not to cut her off. I was fairly emotional as I am pregnant, and was just dealing with hearing the news of a close family member being sick. So I told them to schedule me in however, they liked and it was fine. I did not think that I was being rude, and I thought everything was fine. When I got home from work that day I got an email saying that they were no longer willing to take me on as a patient due to 'scheduling' issues. Personally I think the receptionist thought I was rude or short on the phone. Do you not regularly deal with emotional pregnant women? I know when I am being rude and I was not. The fact that they would drop me as a patient like that is so unprofessional. I had already turned down other midwives and now was stuck looking for another one. I would not recommend Beautiful Babies Midwifery if they are willing to drop patients like this. I even emailed them back to apologize if I came across as rude, and that I hoped this was not the reason they dropped me as a patient and Gina denied this was the reason and said it was due to scheduling. I find this very hard to believe, given that when they first called to tell me about the change in midwife team, they were happy to accommodate me on the other team. Thumbs down. Future mother's be warned!
