★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hit a deer on the highway, and MPI would only tow my vehicle to a repair facility in my area. When I spoke with Melnick's, I was assured that their collision center worked on all makes and models, so I had my CR-V brought to their shop. Initially, they seemed friendly and responsive, but things changed as soon as problems started to arise. The repair took longer than expected, and some of our conversations led me to believe they were taking shortcuts to prevent the car from being written off. When my vehicle was returned, it had a whole host of issues. I brought it back, but it sat there for 2 weeks and nothing was done. The worst part is they refused to return calls, so I had no idea what was going on. I had to finally demand my vehicle back and pay to repair some of the issues out of pocket. Their work is subpar, their customer service is worse and some of their "fixes" were brutal, such as jamming a screw into the battery post to tighten a loose cable, or not even putting bulbs in the new headlight assembly. The paint has blemishes, the taping looks like it was done by Helen Keller, and they put damaged parts back on the vehicle. Stay clear of these hacks.
