L	Laurence MacKenzie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little pond to cast a line into. It's stocked with rainbow trout in the fall and brown trout in the spring. Also, apparently there's bass in here too, though I've only ever seen rainbow come out of here. It's convenient to fish here as there are picnic tables, fire bbqs, benches, and a bathroom all near by. As well, it's close enough to Edmonton that you can just pop up for a couple hours in the evening.

There is accessible parking near the spray park and a paved walking trail down to the pond. The park is well maintained and it is easy to cast anywhere around the pond. Most luck I have had has been with a small pellet of floating powerbait set a couple of feet below the surface. Lots of fish activity in the water. A few spots have some vegetation making it difficult to bottom fish.

The shore is lined with reeds with only occasional breaks, tons of weeds from the shore to about 30 feet out so you have to cast out over that. Not a single bite this morning, no sign there are any fish at all even though it has supposedly been stocked with rainbow trout. Not a good fishing experience.
M	My Day Off on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and relaxing. There are alot of birds, walking paths, spray park and you can try your luck at fishing. We had no problem finding an open picnic table and the washrooms were open.
