★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changing my review below, only due to the fact that consistently I noticed that they touch cash & food with bare hands, without washing between. I made a comment, and they reacted that day and resolved the issue, but the next day it was the exact same story. It grossed me out enough that I didn't want to purchase food here again.
One of my favourite coffee stops around downtown. The owners are so friendly, the drip coffee is great (my usual go to, unless it's a special day or I have enough time, then I'll have the Americano). I absolutely love their yogurt, fruit & granola. Made by hand to order, and so full of goodies. Every time I'm there, the owners know most of their customer's names - its endearing and a clear sign of loyalty with their customer base!

Stopped by this morning for a coffee. Service was pleasant enough and I was offered a newspaper to read. Coffee was ok but a bit weak. My quiet sojourn was upset by the clearly audible conversation between the barista and a customer who came in after me. I'm visiting Victoria BC from the US. The last thing I want to hear in a coffee shop is a whole litany of fake news and stats about voting in the 2020 US Presidential election.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a delightful place. Was out for a wander to the usual corporate coffee spot and found this lovely cafe for a quick breakfast. I had the Denver Omelette and it definitely fills and satisfies. Delicious, huge (I had already eaten a bit more than half of it before taking the photo) and hearty!
I will definitely be going back and suggest everyone visit them at least once when in Victoria.
