★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just type "8mm beads" in ebay, and you will find all their stones for 1/20 of the price. Its a rip off on top of a bad service. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to go to the store years go while it was located on Victoria avenue. The store & ladies were charming, delightful and professional. Unfortunately a couple of days ago I had a very bad experience there, seems the store is under new management. When I got there, around 11.40 AM the store was closed, with a sign in the door saying "Back in 10 minutes". Since I had come quite a way I decided to wait, hoping that the ten minutes had started at least 5 minutes prior. I waited until noon. While I stood there 2 more ladies passed and left, It looks as there is a need for this kind of store. I wanted to voice my disappointment and called the store a bit later. The lady who answered claimed she is part owner. She ws terribly rude and hung up on me, mumbling, she had no time for me. Even though I can appreciate the fact that small businesses cannot afford to have more serving staff I am disgusted with this merchant's attidtude. When asked she would not even give me her or her partner's name. Too bad. I cannot comment on quality and product since I never got into the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a small shop one would expect excellent service, but that was not the case. They have ready made jewelry rather than accessories for the Do It Yourself bead er, They are overpriced with limited selection and I will not be returning nor recommending this shop. Big fail!

A necklace handmade in 1973 by Kai-Yin Lo, renowned Hong Kong jewelry designer of one of a kind pieces, was left to be restrung. I explained that the center piece had to be turned in one direction to overcome the fact that the two strings of tiny beads that held it to the rest of the large and small beads and stones were unequal in length.
My instructions were ignored and when I tried to explain how the work should have been done, the owner rudely responded and told me that she had restrung my necklace, is a designer and knows best. I paid and fled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a special piece of jewelry or just the stones to make your own creation, then you should visit Bead It. The owners are super nice and very knowledgeable. They have beautiful high quality semi precious stones if you are into healing crystals/rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did an amazing job at re-wiring a pearl bracelet I brought home from Barcelona that had totally fallen to pieces after only wearing it twice. Worth the cost, and even more worth it than having to pay for shipping it back to the store in Barcelona to get repaired!
