★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brazen threat from the SPCA hit our household last week. Didn't realize they ran as an autocratic government. Our cat arrived at their doorstep - matts in her fur. "Spoke" with an officer to say at this time of year, every year for the past 9 Ginger gets matts. We diligently rid her of the matts.
The SPCA in all their arrogance threaten us with legal action, a search warrant and the removal of our cat - and maybe the others?!? if we didn't rid her of the matts in 5 days. No dialogue with us about this reoccurring issue that has been handled successfully every year for 9 years. The trauma this cat went through to have her physically shaved was horrible. Our way is far more humane.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had my puppies after a shady bovier breeder Victoria weldwood whom had approached me after her son told her that the mom had rejected the pups.( in hindsite her son had just been dumped by my sister who was helping me bottle feed my pups I never dreamed that someone could be so underhanded and malicious) Victoria seemed quite genuine as she went as far as to have her spouse pick me and the puppies up in Vancouver. So the day I was coming to pick them back up as they were on solid food to be sent a message saying don't bother coming over she surrendered the dogs to spca..i called that day they never returned my call till next day at 5pm. To be told it would be 480 to get my puppies... I asked they been there a day and there 4 weeks old. She saus 30 times 8 puppies times 2 days. $480. I said that crazy they were brought in day b4 . I was told I would have to speak to manager anyway I said thank you expected to be put on hold but get told she be back in a week. I asked is there anyone else to talk to. Answered no . so I was waiting all week friday rolls around no call .... Finally a very rude lady calls me to say there was nothing she was willing to do and if I wNted them it was now 240 times 12 days. I pleaded and was hung up on. I had waited a long time to breed my dogs and 4 of the pups were for family and the other 4 donated to be trained as trained therapy animals. Truly aweful people to do that and feel justified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were lovely through all stages of our adoption of Jinx aka Gypsea. I still send pictures of her adventures- and staff graciously share in her antics. I will return to the branch when it comes time to adopt again. Thank you staff! ?♥️

They took very good care of him and they knew he was a smart boy. I want to thank the staff so much diseal home and very happy boy. And giving the cats lots of love pictures to come to u soon thanks agaim

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A member of their staff gave my husband and I a nice tour of the facility, showing us the Cat rooms and informing us that if we were interested in the doggos available for adoption that they would bring our selected individual out in the foyer room to greet and meet. Since we were just popping in or an intro to our visit, we opted to visit with the cats and check out the doggy profiles on the web later. The cats available for adoption at this time were very interactive and vocal ? Few of them came up to us meowing and rubbing up on our pant legs in delight of our visit with them. We quite enjoyed our time and we're very impressed with the cleanliness and friendly loving environment the animals reside in.
