S	Sid Jenner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place for the EV community to congregate, but a bit off the beaten track. EV chargers need to be installed at big shopping malls so you can go shopping while your car is charging.
L	Laurel Walton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday, I unsuccessfully tried to use both the BCHydro and the Chargepoint apps. My card was nowhere to be found. Since it was below freezing with high winds, calling for help and/or problem-solving at the controls weren't viable. Conditions weren't optimal for troubleshooting. Also, the method to start charging is inconsistent on the Hydro DC chargers - what works there doesn't necessarily work elsewhere. Luckily, another EV owner offered to use his card. I don't know what I would have done without his help. Because it's free (a public service), people can and do help each other out - something else to consider when making decisions about $. I don't have a Level 2 charger at my home nor do I live in Victoria so charging the car before heading up island was imperative. I really appreciate BC Hydro intentionally installing and expanding EV infrastructure. I am also grateful to the kind stranger!
T	Ted Heatherington on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location with a lighting, lots of people (low safety issues), just a short walk to a park, rec center, fast food... hard to find anything to complain about. I've rarely waited for a spot.
