We didn’t know anything about fireplaces or natural gas but they made sure we were well informed. Customer service and technical expertise was fantastic - Would 100% recommend BC fireplaces to make your fireplace dreams come true !

Heather was easy to deal with on the job set up and invoicing plus the service guys were very professional on the install making sure they kept area clean. A few months later I had a small issue with flame height and Michelle dispatched a service tech in an appropriate time frame and issue was resolved. I am a building operator by trade dealing with multiple contractor on a weekly basis and would not hesitate to recommend or use BC Fireplace again. Thank you Aldo
W	Winston M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very disappointing experience. They took my $3,500 deposit under false pretenses and then the salesman (Tom) lied to cover himself. Got my money back promptly, but dealing with Tom over the last 5 months has been a complete waste of time. Contacted him back in July, interested in purchasing a ductless AC unit and a gas fireplace insert for our home. They were very busy at the time with AC sales and no rush on the fireplace insert, so ok, will contact them in a month. Call back Tom, he tells me about a new kind of AC unit, we discuss some details and options, but then he’s going on vacation, so ok follow-up with him when he comes back. Contact Tom when he comes back, get estimates for electrical and discuss with Tom. Our attic master bedroom has no heating, so we need this unit to provide heat in this cooler weather. He advises put down a deposit so he can bring in the AC unit, and he will schedule the installation in 2-3 weeks. Accepted the contract and put down $3,000 deposit Oct 15th, another $500 on Nov 3rd. No installation date scheduled after 3 weeks so I start asking for updates. The response was that they want to focus on fireplace sales right now, so install will now be mid January, NOT the 2-3 weeks promised by Tom. The worst part is, now total silence from Tom, he’s not only letting someone else clean up his mess, he’s lying to them to try and cover up the problem he has made. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The ironic thing is, another one of their salespeople was supposed to call me back for the gas fireplace insert I wanted to buy back in July, but never heard back from them either.

When our sole provider of heat - our beloved gas stove, had to be decommissioned, I sought out the help of New Westminster's BCFS. Michelle [Sales Manager], found a gorgeous unit in our price range and expertly demonstrated it to my uneasy husband. Installer Perry, was most impressive on the day of installation - in both his work and his temperament and dealing with an anxious client. When it was found that the manufacturer had missed packing a piece, Greta move heaven and earth to source the part and Michelle, drove it over herself, during the installation. Thanks for going above and beyond BCFS!

Charged me $180 for a technician to look at it and told me the part was unavailable. They then aggressively tried to sell me a new fireplace. I later called another company, and they were able to source the part and repair the fireplace with no problem.

Fully transparent, stuck to timelines and they were in continuous contact. Since the installation there has been follow up to see if everything was okay and were we happy with their service. BC Fireplace Service is the only call to make for your gas fireplace installation. I can recommend them highly enough!

Jordan and Theo were efficient and tidy. They had it installed in 2.5 hours and the place cleaned. Jordan even gave a quick tutorial before departing. Totally recommend.
