I am so sorry and disappointed to say that a great location at Burard St. which could be the best place for talented technicians to obviate their customers's rightous demands related to their digital equipment's issues and respond their questions properly, but this store has chosen another destructive path for their business reputation. This is one of the most dissorganized store that i have ever seen. Several times they did not adhere to due date and determined time. More than 5 times i came there. And more than 10 times of calling wothout a proper response. They were changing another appointment. Finally they could not fix my lap top. Moreover, they broke the screen of my another laptop and without any accountability they announced that it is your own responsibility (awful customer service). Although they sold me another used surface pro 5 at 250 $cost and with tax amounts to 280 $, which they claim it worth more than this price, but i am really disappointed. I would be more pleasant if could pay more but i receive proper customer service. I hope they chage their path to recover tarnished reputation. Here is Canada and customer polite service is the highest priority and i did not see it in this store. I will never go there.

One day, my computer completely shut off, and it would not turn on. I went to few other repair shops and they gave me negative comments. However when i stopped by at BC Computers, they were able instantly recover my computer files perfectly. They made this situation very smoothly and stress-free. I highly recommend coming here for any technical issues.

I brought them my computer which was shutting down for no reason... They had a hard time finding the problem because no one understood where the problem was coming from. But they finally found the cause and my computer works like before! The team is very nice, very attentive and they answered all the questions I asked. It's very nice to be able to trust them and leave your computer in their hands. Thank you again for your hard work!

BEST SERVICE EVER !!! These guys are truly amazing and have been my Hero. Especially, AREF! I was in need of emergent macbook repair and it would have been a week or possibly more If I went to other store but this guys were so efficient and prompt that it was done on the same day! Second time, about a month after, my keyboard didnt function again. My seemed stopped again, due to how technologies are important these days to function. I sent a one text to Aref and he took his busy time out and squeezed me on the next day and got it all done with so much less cost of the other company which I had inquired before proceeding with this guys. Time is essence and as a customer , I feel they truly CARE which is rare in this business. HIGLY RECOMMENDED! Not only they understood customer's urgency but also they really stepped up their game in every way. TRULY SATISFIED CUSTOMER in every levels.

I spilled water on my laptop while I was working from a coffee shop and needed to find the nearest repair shop in the neighbourhood so l reached out to BC Computers to see if I can recover my data . They answered promptly and were so friendly and helpful . I dropped my laptop at their shop on Burrard and drake and received both a text and an email with a ticket number and with updates on the work that was being done . I loved how organized they were and kept me in the loop step by step ! They were able to recover my data the next day ( so fast ! ) when other shops told me that they had to keep it for 48 hours and " send it in " . They also offer free diagnostics which I thought was really great . II loved how friendly and helpful the customer service is . Highly recommend this shop , they truly are the best of the best in the city ! Thank you very much.

My experience at BC Computing was extremely negative. When I first dropped off my computer, the man behind the desk proceeded to hit on me, commenting on my eyes and calling me "sweetheart." I felt very uncomfortable. Then, the first communication I received about my computer was four days later, via text. The technician sent me an expensive quote with no explanation as to what was being fixed. I asked him to come in to the store to talk me through the repairs / help me understand, and he agreed to do so. At the agreed upon time, he did not show up and so my time was wasted. The man behind the desk (after hitting on me again) got the technician on the phone, who was somewhat apologetic for forgetting. He promised my device would be ready the following day. The next day went by and I did not hear anything, but decided to be patient. Then, when I didn't hear anything for another 24 hours, I phoned. It was only then that the technician was responsive and told me he was working on it. In the end, it took BC Computing almost two weeks to have my laptop ready. When I went in and explained my frustration, the technician refused to give me a discount and was extremely defensive about everything that had transpired. I left feeling very deflated and told them I would never be back. I hope this review will also discourage others from similar disappointment!

I spilled a very small amount of water on my laptop and I didn't want to risk damage so I called this place and they let me take my computer in right away (on a holiday) which I appreciate. They cleaned it right away and I had it back in a few hours. I appreciate the quick turnaround because I'm a student and it's finals week so I needed my computer ASAP. My computer seems to be working perfectly fine. My only dissatisfaction about this place is that I cannot talk to technician directly. I communicated with their manager over phone, who was not in the shop. The were two men in the shop and one appeared to be the tech and didn't speak much English and the other man did speak English but wouldn't answer any questions. He kept saying "I don't know I'm not the technician." He was just in charge of payments and having me sign documents saying that I agree to the service etc... So I had to keep talking to this person on the phone who was not the technician who worked on my machine. So it doesn't feel very transparent in that way since I'm talking to this middle man who isn't there I would prefer to talk to the technician himself throughout the process but my device is working and it was quick. I paid $59 for the cleaning and then $95 for them to "fix Windows". They said it was in a boot loop after they cleaned it(?) (At first the tech said he updated the BIOS but I checked, and it wasn't so I'm not sure what he did exactly) Anyways, it's working now so that's what's important.

I have mixed feelings about this company. For one thing, they promise to run the diagnostics in 24 hours, which sounds great. However, they are not capable of doing that, and they fail to let you know. Same with the repair - they promise your PC will be ready in 24 hours, but it is still not ready in two days, lack of communication again. You have to call to find out what's going on. I'm sure everybody understands it is essential to communicate and be transparent about the lead times as we use our computers/laptops every day for work or school. We need to be able to plan appropriately. When my PC was finally ready, they gave it back without my charger. The person at the store couldn't find it, so he claimed that the owner took it home as he has the same laptop (which, what a surprise, turned out to be a lie). Please, at least have the decency to be transparent with your clients; they're not stupid. A different person could locate the charger the following day, so I had to come back for it. I was lucky as I live 10 mins from the store, what about people travelling from far though? The whole experience was frustrating overall, but my problem seems to be fixed, thus the 2 stars.
