I only gave them one star as I cannot put anything less. Absolutely horrible service every time I go there and unfortunately I have to use WestJet cargo due to shipping to a certain airport. Would not recommend shipping anything through here as I have yet to have one good experience that has not been time consuming.

Very very poor handling. One of the worst cargo handler seen so far. If BBE cargo handler in Edmonton better get shipment by sea it will be faster. My air shipment from china got after 12days arriving in Edmonton. Called so many times, Finally got hold of Supervisor and she found out where it is in warehouse and got it. Informed my agent in China, check if BBE handling agent in Edmonton, don't ship with that airline. One of the worst worst worst service. With regards to your reply, It was not about custom clearance. Your staff didn't sent notification/arrival notice to my broker or to me.They were just telling cargo is not here but it was there for more then 10days. It is Air Cargo so your staff should know importance of that as well. Just FYI custom was cleared in minutes after submission by my broker.

I have been here twice to pick up an order of live chicks from Ontario. It takes awhile for your package to get from the plane to the building but they always do a good job. I found the staff in the back to be friendlier than the staff in the front. I assume because they get tired of telling people they have to wait an hour before they can get their deliveries.

Called them to find out estimate price of the service (taxes and fees on puppy shipment). Was told that they do not give out prices over the phone and was asked to email them. As i am writing this, eleven days has passed since my email. I still never got a reply. That's sums up quality of their service i guess.

I have dealt with these guys a few times now and they are always awesome. Megan has helped me both times for various issues and she is excellent. Efficient, friendly and they know what they're doing. I trust our stuff with them and they aren't expensive. We use them through WestJet Cargo and CBSA release shipments. The staff are always great to work with!

This is definitely the most horrible customer service experience I have had. After an extremely stressful week of sending my cat to Vancouver for medical treatment not offered in Edmonton my experience with BBE has left me reeling. I initially escorted my cat to Vancouver as she has never flown before. I felt comfortable to have her come back with Westjet Cargo although I arrived at BBE to pick her up at the time instructed by Westjet verbally and online (although a little late as GPS could not locate) and I was completely berated by an employee who I believe to be β€œTara”. She proceeded to tell me I was extremely late for pick up and I could have not been told the timeframe and kept telling me I was wrong and publicly shamed me for leaving my cat locked in a kennel waiting for me. I was absolutely horrified as I was well aware how long my cat has been in a kennel from the start of her journey and was anxious about the fact I was under the impression I was unable to collect her earlier. It is unfortunate that this interaction has completely tainted this weeks entire experience and I have never felt so personally attacked by a complete stranger.

The quality of service you get here depends on the staff you get... I come here quite often so I would like to note there’s 2 staff members that are nice. The others seem to hate their job. Westjet uses this company but in Calgary there there is another company that Westjet works with. If you don’t mind the drive I recommended going to the Calgary location for a better experience. I only come here when I don’t have time to make the drive to Calgary. They Calgary location is: - more organized - more efficient/fast check in and pick up - friendly staff - flexible ok drop off times (I’ve dropped of pets 4 hours early and also up to 1 hour late and they still accepted whereas the Edmonton location will not. I highly recommended making the drive to Calgary if you live between two places to avoid disappointment.

Very helpful and caring. Advice - call them prior to leaving home...they get the latest updates. Very happy.. .A picture if our precious cargo. Thank you to the lady who works in the warehouse and talks to the live cargo as she works....in a nice calm manner! I am sure they all appreciate you for doing So!!! I sure Do! A sincere thank You...
