Mike C was the nicest plumber I have ever encountered. He explained everything he was doing and was super professional. Highly recommend him! :)

Two employees, Marc and Brody, responded quickly and professionally in resolving an issue in the condo where I live. Both were quite knowledgeable, worked quickly and it was a pleasure to encounter 2 employees who not only knew their trade but it was evident they enjoyed their work.

Had a plugged drain in the building. Mike Couturier came out and took care of it in short time. You are in good hands if Mike is on the job. He has a great attitude and is very knowledgeable.

Mike C is very knowledgeable, nice to my residents and staff and requires very little supervision, he seems to always save the day at my building every time we need help with plumbing! Cleans up his mess each time and always follows up before he leaves the job site. These thing's are key for Condo buildings. His above and beyond approach deserves extra incentive.

After 4 months, 7 wasted vacation days on technician visits, $6,000, a new heat pump chassis, and numerous frustrations, my heat pump is finally working again. DO NOT choose Baxtec to service your condo or apartment heat pump! Long version - I first noticed my A/C was broken on the May 24 weekend and was recommended Baxtec by my condo corporation. The unit would cut out and blow warm air after the temperature inside my unit reached 24 degrees, tripping the high-pressure sensor. I had a technician look at the unit, he had trouble reproducing the issue because it was a cold day. He said that if it persisted the unit would need to be removed and cleaned. I scheduled another appointment, and a new technician tried to reproduce the issue again on a cold day. He didn’t remove the unit and it was still broken, so I had to schedule another appointment for the original technician to take the unit out. BUT, before the unit could be taken out I was supposed to be sent a quote for the estimated cost of the cleaning and reinstallation. The sales representative didn’t send me the correct quote. It was a quote for $8,000 and belonged to the EY center, not my apartment! After a small panic attack the technician phoned the representative and gave the correct quote. The unit was cleaned over night, and I was told that I would need to schedule another appointment for the technician to come in and reinstall the unit. I am an essential worker and can’t work from home, so I need to use vacation days every time the technicians need access to my apartment. The next day, there was a miscommunication and the technician showed up when I was at work. After scheduling yet another appointment and having the heat pump reinstalled, it worked off and on for the next 2 weeks. I called Baxtec yet again and they sent a new technician to come take a look. He determined that at this point, the whole cooling chassis needed to be replaced. I was sent a quote for the new unit and spoke to the same sales representative that sent me the wrong quote. By this time, I had already spent nearly $1,300 on useless visits and having the unit cleaned. I was told there was nothing they could do and that the quote for $ 4,300 was their best offer. So, I gave up and agreed to have the unit replaced. Two weeks later, I had the technician come in and try to install the new unit when… just my luck! Another issue! The supplier had given the technician the wrong hoses. Meaning, the technician couldn’t install the unit and I had to book off another vacation day to have the unit installed the day after. By this time the technician had racked up more time than allotted in the quote. Luckily, they only charged me the quoted price and I didn’t have to pay for the supplier’s mistake. Finally, by the end of August and after all of the summer heat waves I had A/C again! Overall, my experience has been marred by a series of mistakes, miscommunications, frustration, and waisted time/money! I had a terrible experience with Baxtec and words cannot describe how frustrated I am after this whole ordeal. Please, DO NOT recommend Baxtec to your tenants and consider another company to service your heat pump.

We like to park on sidewalks and block access to bicycle racks.

The experience was very good. The unit arrived ahead of expected date. The technicians were extremely friendly, competent and polite. The new heat pump is humming quietly. I would recommend them 100%, no hesitation.
