Hard to get hold of them. They only respond when they want to sale but not otherwise. Please read the contract before signing. There is 10 day cool period when signing a contract that's not documented. This is the email I rec'd on Jul 12 and this is response to their post: "HI Mr Name, I received your email yesterday at 5 minutes prior to closing so I processed your refund this morning. The case ref # is 17739058 and it will take approx. 3-5 business days to show back on your card. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions" Checked the bank and the money hasn't been credited. Sent them an email yesterday and no response.

Eeek, wish it was possible to give zero stars. Cost a fortune, and just not good. Avoid at all costs (literally!!)

The sales consultant was knowledgeable, the installer was efficient and very clean, Darlene in the office was great to work with for scheduling and payment. I can't imagine being happier with the results - an incredible transformation of my bathroom! Highly recommended.

The experience we have had with Bathfitters is beyond disappointing and can only be described as frustrating and upsetting. The consultation went amazing promised to be impressed, told "you'll just love it" and you're getting the value. Well, we were sold on the idea of a 1 day install with no stress. However, we had the most frustrating customer services experience while dealing with Bathfitter and once they have your money they refuse to refund and its is pulling teeth to get any compensation when it is clear the workmanship is horrendous. The first installer had uneven caulking-where it was fine and then put on really thick-, the faucet popped off the wall, the shower head leaked and the water turn on and off did not have a stopper on it-so it would just spin. On top of that the drywall was ripped in many places along the edges. After that we had someone come and fixed the caulking and then the next day we noticed a crack in the surround. Therefore we needed a whole new thing. Something that was a 1 day install was turning into three and we had to move our work schedules around Bathfitter (also 1 day install also means 2 days of unable to use it). We took time off even to be present to be told they need to reschedule. The guy who came and measured used our after shower towel to stand on in the tub and broke our candle but did not say anything to us even though we were home. If my husband didn't notice the candle shattered myself, him or our children could of stepped on a piece of glass. Now after it getting fixed we have agreed to have someone come fix the drywall which youd would be the end of a dark tunnel, but no getting this guy to come in has taken over a month! With promises of him saying he will call us back and us hearing nothing. I have been warning my friends, family and colleagues away from using Bathfitter. There is no "bang for your buck". Trying to sort through something that was very clearly poor quality from the start has been a huge effort and time consumer on our end and we even had to get Bathfitter Headquater involved and the Better Business Bureau to see any money back which was pennies to what we paid. Pay a contractor, use a friend, go to home depot and DIY your bathtub because the headache, customer service and money is not worth it at Bathfitters. At the end of the day my husband and I were done, all we want is a bathroom that looks good for reselling and made an agreement with Bathfitter. But we feel people should hear the possible experience they may get and warn them.

Installer only turned on water valve half-way causing pressure build up, fitting leak and basement flooding. A day of installation led to a nightmare when I went to my basement and realized water was coming up through my hardwood. Bath fitter response was contract boiler plate regarding the plumbing of the house, however pressure leak was caused by installer simply not reopening the main water valve all the way. Net result was an expensive and time consuming insurance claim. Indication from owner was that leaks were a frequent occurrence however no extra care or guidance was provided. Be sure to add an extra thousand to your quote to account for preventable issues. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for your remodel as this was an expensive mistake for us. edit: to reply to the as I'm unable to add further comment. Scott’s response is 100% inaccurate. We had the hot water tank successfully replaced the week before with 0 issues as the technicians turned the valve all the way back on. The plumber who ultimately repaired the costly mistake showed me exactly why the replaced valve leaked when not turned all the way back on due to pressure imbalance. Removing a further star for the factually inaccurrate excuse....

Barrie Bath Fitter stands by their life time warranty! Bath Fitter installed a Shower Unit including a base and glass door in 2006. In 2020 it developed a crack in the base, which resulted in some water leakage. To make a long story short, the staff at Barrie Bath Fitter were courteous and professional, they completely replaced the whole unit. My Wife and I could not be happier with their great support. Barrie Bath Fitter stands by their life time warranty! Thank so much to Darlene and Maurice ... Great Work !!!

Bath fitters makes promises that they don't keep and have a complete lack of detail. Told install would happen within 5-6 weeks, took my deposit, never called as promised. When followed up with was given song and dance that they would call when they are ready. Got a call weeks later, date moved to 8 weeks from consult and blamed it on the salesman for overbooking. Installation date came and they installed the wrong products, now have to wait 2 weeks for them to fix the mess-up, all they offered for the inconvenience and hassle was an apology and excuses. Installer has good workmanship but the whole Bath-Fitter customer experience has FAILED COMPLETELY. Will choose their competitor next time.... I guess you live and learn..... ***In Response to business*** There was NO mention of a defective and we were NOT provided an option. Simply put, the wrong product was installed and NOT noticed until completed by either the Bath fitter installer or ourselves. We were offered an inadequate discount to keep the wrong product. We finally got the right product installed with a minimal discount for the frustration and inconvenience. I however will give credit to the installer as he did a beautiful job on both installations with professionalism and courtesy.

I had a new bathtub and enclosure installed today by Curtis. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the work and the speed in which it was completed. Curtis was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and explained exactly what was being done. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend Bath Fitter and Curtis as your installer. Carol P
