Best micro brewery bar. Sebastian the owner knows his beers and pulled some discontinued beers out from the back for us. Everyone was extremely nice. Awesome beer!!

This is such a wonderful place. Even if you don’t like metal music, it’s not too overwhelming and it’s the kindest atmosphere, people coming together to enjoy music and beer. The bartenders love their jobs.

This bar was very low key. The beer selection is top notch and the bartender was very good. He offered recommendations based on our tastes. I'm glad I found this place. I will definetely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere in this little dive-y bar. The beer selection is admittedly short, but had a couple of fantastic gems on it. This bar hits it out of the park with the music and ambiance, and their bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Look out for the special events the bar has with esoteric and hard-to-find breweries.

I love to go there. It is not that easy to find but this add to the charm of that bar. It is perfect that way. I really enjoy their choices of beers. It changes often and the people who are working there are very nice !! I highly recommend. Sometimes you can even see different kind of show

Bateau De Nuit By far the best bar around! It really is at great as everyone says, including the rather odd but fun heavy metal music. Although old town Quebec is fun, if you’re out to get a real feel for a genuine local bar, this is the place. !Note- It is cash only, but there is a ATM down the street if need be. Make sure you know the address, as it may be easily overlooked but not impossible to find. There are a few stickers on the green door that opens to stairs that leads up to the bar. It is sailor themed and the art on the walls is done by local people who have come and gone giving the bar an even more local vibe. If you go early in the night, it’s nice and quiet, but I’m told later into the night is when it gets packed! So depends what you like. Being we went early, we were able to socialize with the staff. There was an old man who seemed as if he may have some connection to the bar but was simply drinking while we were there, however, he was very friendly and was more than willing to explain the drawings and tell the history of the art on the walls- Awesome old man! The bartender we spent our evening with, was Sebastian. He was incredibly knowledge, funny, and friendly. He explained all the beers they had on tab and their history, and offered plenty of samples so we’d get exactly what we wanted. Even when we wanted to continue our night at other local bars, he was so helpful in educating us in what bars were good or bad, and explained what each had to offer whether it be playing pool, somewhere with a massive variety of beer, and even where the best drunk food could be found. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bar!

Very cool spot. Sebastian and Joelle were very kind and accommodating. They really made the experience for me. Good beers, a bit high on the price scale. Live music. One bathroom. Nice vibe. Would recommend. -Sam-New Orleans
