J	JC Aquino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given that I had no prior driving experience, Mallalai assisted me in passing my G2 on my first attempt. She is an excellent instructor who is patient in teaching and understanding your learning style. She really knows how to teach driving with perfection. I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend her to be anyone’s driving instructor.
E	Emily Failes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First lesson and right off the bat she starts accusing me of not knowing how to drive ... isn't that the point of getting lessons? She repeated this quite a few times. Prior to this she rescheduled/changed times of the lesson twice yet was rude upon arrival. In the middle of a busy intersection she says "you are going to get us in an accident". I said excuse me, and she said that I'm too cautious, i will "never pass the test", and we will get in an accident. I had a close friend die in an accident, and with cars zooming past me this set me into such a panic (especially as a new driver!). I felt sick to my stomach and just wanted to leave the car. She tried blaming me saying I can't take direction, I don't have the confidence, I'm too sensitive. As someone who has been an extremely confident young woman all my life this truly baffles me - I was prepared to take a driving lesson and instead was met with pure arrogance. My Christmas Eve will not be ruined by her. Edit: It is clear from my experience and other reviews that this instructor lies. There is no point to even dispute the random lies she makes up in her responses. I hope she tries to better herself instead of making up random lies to make herself look better in reviews.
P	Preethi Babu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ms. Malallai is the best instructor you can get. I was very nervous when I started driving here, but she helped to overcome my fears and was very encouraging. I can't believe I passed my G test straight from G1 in first attempt in Toronto test centre! She will not talk much or distract us and would only mention if we need corrections and not to mention her car is super clean and well-maintained. She is very flexible and will accommodate the lesson even after my work hours. Don't hesitate if you feel her pricey, you will not regret it later. I highly recommend Basic Driving school!

What kind of instructor tells a student “don’t drive with kids you will get them in an accident”. Shame on you for demoting your clients. The whole reason she came to you was to get expert advise. She didn’t pay you to get called names and cry herself to sleep. You don’t even deserve a star. If you can’t build people, at least don’t break them.

She helped me overcome my initial fears and doubts about driving and although she can seem strict at first, she is in fact a very reassuring and caring instructor. Thank to her, I passed my G2 on my first try!
I	Ivana Velickovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mallalai is a wonderful teacher. You can tell she's very passionate about driving and wants to make sure her students are very well-prepared and confident. I was a very nervous driver and she helped me work on my confidence and I was able to pass my G2! She's also very communicative and punctual. She encourages her students to learn in a way that works for them (for me, it was writing and drawing things out, which she helped me with). She's patient and encouraging, and I learned much more from her than my previous instructor.

She will point out little tips but also allow you the space to get comfortable and make mistakes then gently correct you. I was able to pass my G test in 1 try thanks to her instruction. The tester even commended me on some of the things she told me to look out for. Would definitely recommend her to beginner and experienced drivers alike.
