They were very professional and caring and genuinely seemed to care about our girls. I was very happy with their rates and our bill was less than expected! Very happy to take our cats back whenever needed.

S	Sara Beckford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have nothing but the best things to say about Barriefield Animal Hospital. Our Olde English Bulldogge has been seeing Dr. Morrison for just over 2-years. Dr. Morrison has such a calm presence that he instantly makes you feel at ease in the most stressful situations. The vet techs are all amazing (as evident by how quick our fur baby is to run off with them). Most recently (aka today), the team exceeded our expectations when our dog had to be rushed into surgery late afternoon due to complications from a bowel obstruction surgery (complications not caused by the first surgery- it was just a random event that rarely happens). Barriefield was able to get our dog in for an assessment as soon as I called with my concerns and he was in surgery right away. Over and above to exceptional care they gave our dog, their customer service throughout this experience was phenomenal!

Dr. Nora takes the time to explain everything to you and it’s obvious that she cares for her patients. I’m not sure of the names of the RVTs (+ other staff) we have met with but they have all been compassionate and easy to talk to. My dogs are excited when they arrive at the hospital. Which shows that they’re treated well. Go here if you want to take your pets to a hospital that practises a high standard of care.

They badly diagnosed my dog disease, said it was nothing, while it was a yeast infection between her paws, and when I called them to ask them to give me a prescription drug, even though they should have prescribed it the first time, they wanted to charge me again for the visit. And that is only one of the bad experience I've had with them. Do your pet and your wallet a favour and look for a better vet

We now have a plan to keep him going and I am so grateful we were able to get in to this vet! (It was my first time there)

The cost of care is super affordable. The techs are awesome about letting you know when to panic and when you're just being anxious and don't need to come in, telling you what to try and what to watch for. The vets themselves are amazing, super great with my dog who's usually terrified of new people. Couldn't recommend enough!

I was a little worried about sending her in alone as this was our first visit to a vet (I've only had her a few months) and I wasn't sure how she would react to being in an unfamiliar place with new people. Dr. Nora called me multiple times throughout the visit to discuss the course of action and told me how sweet and easy to work with my girl is. When she was done, she was calm, relaxed, and perky. I was so pleased with how my situation was handled and how gentle they must have been on her. The reception staff were kind and easy to talk to and were able to book me in quite quickly. Although all vets aren't going to be cheap, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable, especially compared to other vets in the area. I have a follow-up appointment with them in a few weeks and I look forward to keeping them as my permanent vet!
